I am unable to log into either of my characters on Arugal and a character on yojamba. After selecting my character and waiting for the loading screen to finish, I get the error “World Server Down”
So far I have tried the blizzard self help “Stuck Character” service. Current status is “Status: Processing” (Ticket submitted 30 minutes ago). Even if this was to work I can only “unstuck” a character every 8 hours.
I have also tried logging in with all addons disabled, deleted the wtf + interface + cache folders. And the issue persists.
Interestingly I can make a new blood elf character and load in, but if i try to make a gnome character I get the same “World Server Down” error.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or has in the past?
‘world server down’ used to be very common. It usually means one continent or outlands is down. So if outlands was down you could happily make new toons on azeroth. Blood elfs have their own instance/server so are different from gnomes.
Thanks for the reply. I am not sure if that is the exact issue I am experiencing at the moment.
Out of boredom I ran a fresh blood elf from silvermoon to undercity to orgrimmar (My DK is in orgrimar and still not able to be logged onto)
I also tried to delete a character and restore it, but still experiencing the same “World Server Down” issue.
Edit:
I just had the “Stuck character” ticket resolved, it said “We’ve moved your character to a safe location and you can log in now.” But the login screen location hasn’t up dated.
I also can not login to the fresh blood elf in orgrimmar, so there is definitely something funky going on on Blizzards end that allows you to move freely around through loading screens if you are already connected to the server. But is preventing me from connecting to certain zones.

i am also now experiencing that, it has been 12 hours that I have not been able to enter the game, the attempt I tried has sent a ticket, deleted and installed the game, but it did not produce results
but if I create a character on a different server I can enter the game
i don’t know what to do so that my character can enter the game
