Either reduce the realm population caps to the vanilla number to give us a vanilla experience or increase the spawn rate of resources in the world to reflect the increased population and give us a vanilla experience.

they increased the cap… twice…
why? because people asked for it for there were too many people and not so many servers , and you just cant cut the current playerbase of those servers by literal half
Technically, you can. It’s as easy as changing an environment variable.
Seems like lowering the cap at this point in the game is a bad idea, so they should increase herb / mineral spawns to reflect the increased server capacity.
