World Quests Should Never

Take me over 15 minutes to do. Enforcer Extermination, https://www.wowhead.com/quest=82481/enforcer-extermination and you can read the comments there.

I am far, FARRRR far from being the only person who thinks these world quest mob respwawn rates are beyond terrible, it’s deliberately bad. That’s how it feels.
I just sat there doing that quest for over 20 minutes and half of it was just me and 10 other people circling the zone waiting for even one enemy to spawn and then watching it get nuked from orbit by half the people there before anybody else can even get there.

And its far from the only world quest that is doing this.
Fix the respawn rates.
LITERALLY NOBODY HERE CARES ABOUT PEOPLE EXPLOITING FASTER SPAWNS.
BAn them permanently and be done with it so the rest of us can actually accomplish everything.

Just as you shouldn’t design the difficulty of raids around the 1%, you also shouldn’t design your world quests around the 1% of jerkwads who intentionally abuse the game’s systems.

There is no reason for the rest of us to have to suffer just to maybe sort of stop exploiters.

And if its a deliberate time-gating method, you need to stop that. WE will play however the hell we choose to play. If I want to pay gold to get boosted in five minutes, thats on me. If I want to sit around and do nothing but fishing to level up, thats on me.

You want us to play the game longer, than maybe make things more interesting and fun, and less of a slog.

I shouldn’t feel like a herd of turtles in a field of peanut butter and molasses (heh) in the middle of winter while doing a world quest or any other content.
You can’t extend people’s playtime artifically like this.
IT might look good on paper at first…but when people just eventually say “screw this, imma go play literally any other game in the world besides this one”…That doesn’t look good on paper or the investors wallets.
your paper should be getting scrunched up and thrown away, get a new piece of paper and retry. Let’s come up with a solution that doesn’t waste the time of your valuable customers with frivolous nonsense like this.

It is unfun, uninteresting and takes away all immersion when I just sit there circling like a vulture for that one enemy. It adds nothing to the game except playtime.
Instead of measures to slow us down, maybe just design more or better content instead of rinsing and repeating. And if it’s not adding to the game, why is it there?

It’s a low priority bug I’m sure.

Hoping they get a fix in the works soon.

Making you wait is the business model of blizzard.

I love how for once, the community is just openly saying it and nobody is getting trolled lol.

It really is pretty bad when we can all agree that something is actively bad for the health of the game.

World quests all throughout TWW are missing a level of polish that’s disappointing for devs of blizzard calibre.

Pretty much any that require killing some number of mobs in an area are terrible; there won’t be any mobs to kill, and the spawn rates will be abysmally slow.

Hanlon’s razor or just more time padding by Blizzard?

Inquiring minds want to know.
