It is 8:54pm realm time on Stormrage…I have 2 Revendreth callings available to be done but 3 world quests available, one of which is a pet battle which I do not do. Do you think this is acceptable game play design to only have this many world quests available at anytime let alone a zone where you have 2 active callings? Is this a passive aggressive way to force your gamer community to only play at certain times?
Major Fail Blizzard!
I don’t do pet battles either, but I’ve never had a problem finding enough WQs in Revendreth. I do avoid doing any WQs many hours before 8am calling reset though, to ensure I have enough WQs for callings.
2 active callings? Wouldn’t completing each WQ increase the count for both?
It does. Typically one WQ is 25% of the percentage-bar “help the zone” calling, as well as one for the “three WQs” calling.
But I don’t think I’ve ever seen that few WQs in a zone without some kind of filter being active. Have you doublechecked to make sure they’re all visible?
I had the calling that had to progress to 100%…normally 4 world quest and the calling a couple days later that called for 3 world quests. now this was an alt of mine and I had not completed all “side quests” in Revendreth. Thus, it was pointed out to me as a possible issue.
With that being said, I still think it is poor management or design or both as in BFA there was never a shortage of WQ available to finish a calling. Further, at the time mentioned in my original post, Revendreth had 3 WQ (including a pet battle) for more than an hour while Ardenwield had 8 (including one pet battle).
If this is supposedly an alt friendly expansion with quality of life enhancements as touted by the marketing spins coming from Blizzard, I fail to see how something so simple is over-looked.
If the customer comes first, this lack of attention to detail should not be happening.
Today, I have the do three world quests in Revendreth, on a character that I have not played for over a week. There are four world quests available, and one is a pet battle. Checking the other three areas of basic shadowland, each has at least six quests up. I find this situation quite often in Revendreth, far fewer WQs than the other regions (and most of my alts have completed the normal quest lines in Revendreth). So, often, if Revendreth is one (or even two) of the Callings that the Covenant want me to go to, I just skip that Calling, slowing up my ability to progress.
I’m curious how that character leveled 50 to 60, and what you did since. I checked several of my non-Venthyr guys (who generally don’t bother with Revendreth WQs) and all have 5 WQs available, Secret Service, Swarming Souls, Summon Your Sins, Parasol Peril, and the pet battle.
I’m wondering if it is possible to not unlock one or more of them through how you progressed the main story (since Revendreth is the “last” zone it is more likely to have issues since you generally can’t complete it before hitting 60).
I was just talking about this in guild on Stormrage yesterday. I think the calling was three quests there and only three were up for me + the pet battle. I think later on in the night I saw there was 4 and the pet battle but I didn’t go over there on the alt to do it.
