World Quests in Mechagon?

Are there world quests in Mechagon? If so, how do you unlock these? I’m pretty sure I’ve done all the quests here, but I’m not seeing any WQs.

Same, it looks like I’ve done all the quest but I don’t see a way to unlock world quest.

I have the same issue. After I opened the portal there was no quests … very frustrating

Ok, it took me a bit, but I did eventually figure it out. This was driving me crazy too.

Mechagon has no world quests, it only has daily quests. The daily quests are given by various characters that travel to Mechagon every day.

I followed the quest line all the way through and did everything available, up to getting the quest for the Mechagon dungeon, which isn’t available yet.

Icy Veins recommends killing Seaspit, a murloc on one of the little islands to the west but still part of Mechagon, to get a blueprint and its turnin quest. They state that once this quest is turned in, it opens up the dailies.

This wasn’t my experience on my first character. I got the blueprint, turned it in, and nothing happened. I spent a few hours scouring Icy Veins and WoWhead trying to figure it out, also making use of google. It was as frustrating as it gets.

I finally gave up and started working on my second character, and this is what I found:

  1. Seaspit was not available to my second character
  2. Daily quests (blue exclamation point) opened up after the daily rollover
  3. On logging in my first character after the morning rollover, the daily quests were available

Bonus fun for the frustrated: Mechagon has jetpacks!! They’re some of the most fun I’ve ever had in WoW. You can run through the mount paint on the platform, double jump to activate your jetpack, and buzz people as a blue flying whatever. I was giggling all morning.

(You can get the jetpacks from one of the constructed buildings, I saw three around the island that had it available at various times.)

I farmed Seaspit for a couple hours yesterday and still no blueprint drop. I was doing that so I could unlock the Inn and get the additional dailies. (According to Icy Veins) So are you saying we don’t need to unlock the Inn to get more dailies? Sorry, just need a little more clarification. Thank you for your post!

I’m seeing way more world quests on the Mechagon Icy Veins guide than the 3-4 I’m able to find each day. Do they rotate or something, and only a few are available each day?

I think there’s only ONE actual WQ daily for Mechagon. The first day, that was to kill three(?) rares, the second day was to open six chests, and today it was a “fill the bar” type quest, and you got credit for everything you did–other quests, opening chests, killing rares, etc. Edit: for these WQs, you get 850 rep.

There are other “daily” quests, all over the island. You have to go find them. Some are in Mechagon, but there are others around. Today, there was a quest that flew you out to the western part, and once you got there, there were two other daily quests you could do that were not related to the one that brought you there. Edit: The daily quests reward 50-150 rep.

i was actually just running around blindly and landed right on a world quest spawn location. very strange how it is working now unless it’s super buggy atm. nazjatar seems to ahve all the world quests while mechagon has the fast rare farming.

If you catch Chromie while she’s active, she sends you to an alternate Mechagon where there are two quests right off, and a third when you kill The Rusting Prince. If you can make the Personal Time Displacer from Pasquale, that’ll also get you there when Chromie’s not up. To leave, just click off the buff.

The Rusty Prince is not up when Chromie is active.

I can’t figure out how to get to Mechagon. I swam there. Got the blueprint but can’t load it. K1N6 doesn’t show up. The question mark is on my map.

getting to mechagon the normal way requires you to get world quests activated in Nazjatar, at which point a gnome pops up and tells you to seek Tinkmaster Overspark in Boralus. After a short (30-45 min) questline you wind up on mechagon, and another such questline has you touring the island, releasing pascal-k1n6, and generally getting situated.

Once you’ve unlocked it, you fly there

I just started playing again sense November last year, so Im assuming in order to get revered with rustbolt it takes forever due to no world quests

That seems like an assumption with no real basis.

There is one daily WQ in Mechagon which gives 850 rep. There are also multiple dailies every day which are technically different from WQs but are just as useful for getting your rep going. There is also a pet battle WQ each day. You also get rep the first time you kill each one of the many rares. And if you are really keen there are rare quest fish you can catch for a little more.

It takes about 8 or 9 days to get Revered Mechagon if you do everything you can.
