I can see World Quests in the dragon isles from inside Valdrakken, but when I leave the city boundaries, they all disappear. first day this has happened. 12/12/22/. Have tried /reload, relogging, fully exiting the game, changing zones (portal or Org and back) and nothing seems to help. Even travelling to the WQ location and back.

i don’t have any advice or a fix, but this has happened to me SEVERAL times and made me feel crazy. i get on a flight path to go to a WQ i see, i land, check the map, and the quest is just gone. so weird and disappointing.

Someone mentioned if you there’s ones with sword on it, it means it is PvP enabled only.
I seen one North of Val and when I leave it, it’s gone. This may still be a bug because the WQ said do x OR kill players.

Thanks man! This fixed it. All I had to do was go to Org and turn on war mode. This bug was driving me crazy.

Yeah those PvP WQ’s really are annoying because you have to port to Org or Stormwind to turn warmode on.
Why can’t we just turn it on in Veldrakken?

One would have assumed they would work precisely like the pvp world quests did in legion, i.e. you didn’t have to be flagged for pvp in advance.
Really hope this can be changed to follow the precedent set in Legion.

I’ve had a similar situation, even tried to head to Stormwind turn on warmode just to have the quest dissappearas soon as I leave Valdrakken. I’ve done one of these quests before without the warmode thing. Not sure if it’s my UI doing this or something else. Not super concerned either as I don’t really pvp much anyhow.

Came here looking for info. I need pants and there is a quest that can give them to me, but no, I need War Mode apparently? I did one at Cobalt area before without needing warmode though so this seems just plain buggy.

That small zone at Cobalt Academy is a dedicated PvP zone. So any time you enter it, you get a temporary PvP mode turned on.
The two WQ’s that show up on the world map while you sit in Valdrakken are PvP WQ’s that need war mode turned on for you to complete.
No fix for me. War Mode is enabled, and I can see the WQ when standing in Valdrakken, and as SOON as I fly out, it disappears. EVERY PvP WQ, and I have tried with and without WM.

Same issue here. Thought maybe it was an addon issue with WorldTracker but with that disabled, warmode turned on in Org, leave Valdrakken and it’s gone. WorldTracker gives the “tomtom” location but as soon as you get to it it says it’s 5k away.
Not on my 62 DK either btw. 70 Pally finished the story line
I have World Quest Tracker addon, I can set it to hide PVP WQ so I don’t have to deal with them showing up while in Valdrakken.
I wish they would make like a designated WQ pvp zone where everyone that walks in there is flagged for pvp but then when you walk out you can resume your normal business and move on…
There is the arena down at the Cobalt Assembly that is exactly that.
You enter and get a temp PvP flag but as soon as you exit it is turned off.
I thought I saw something like that the other day I played, somehow I thought they removed it or something lol
