World quests are pathetic

From unrewarding to just blatant poor design. What the hell is ‘A Night in the Woods’ joke of a world quest?

You have to sprint through multiple elites to get to the quest to having to tank mass loads of elites because of npcs don’t hold aggro or heal.

I think it’s time to take a serious look at the world quest department and see if they’re on hash. It’s either boring mind numbing to just ridiculous un-fun content.

Must be the same idiot department that designed torghast.

I haven’t seen that one, but there’s also a Dredger quest that is probably worst quest in the game.

So far the world quests are pretty underwhelming. Most, for me, aren’t worth the time it takes to get there. Everything is about keeping us logged in longer.

i liked WQ in BFA more, at least you had a chance of getting gear upgrades through them or emissaries. now the gear rewards are not worth doing unless you have a mission from your cov to do them in a certain zone.
especially with the not so great drop rates from dungeons

World quests 2.0 as promised from BlizZcon has been a flop. Keeping it real!

I miss the “Kill this one elite mob” World Quests from past expansions.

Yea, they were pushovers. But they were still better than yanking 10 tufts of grass out of the ground while dealing with constant respawning mobs.

Is that the one where you gotta defend them while they chop down those trees?

I’m enjoying the World Quests. That one was the last one I did too. I like that theirs some challenge to it now

Why are so many people struggling with these WQs? All the ones I’ve done have been quick and simple and I do them on two characters a day.

No one said struggling, not exactly sure where you pulled that from. WQs are bland and looking back at previous expansions, SLs by far has the most boring unrewarding WQs I’ve seen yet.

But people will defend it because blizzard can’t do wrong. Sad when you live in a world when you can’t criticize something to consider improvement.

How I see it, with each expansion, I would expect to see innovation and improvement, not implement something that is boring. The sub count is down for a reason, it’s because the game is pretty much same old same old. Mainly for the reason, if you influence any ideas, you’re a horrible person.

If I’m going to pay for an expansion, I expect it to expand on its previous ideas and not pedal backwards.

The sub count is down because it’s a 15 year old game. To think otherwise is stupid. The innovation this time around is to make WQs a less important part of the game while allowing players to engage more with other content if they choose to (e.g. callings that allow you to complete them in dungeons).

The entire concept of this xpac leans more towards “do what you like”.

Edit: And also, you were clearly struggling with that WQ based on your OP.

probably the barrel racing

This is innovation? To think this, is stupid. Watering a game down is not innovation, it’s laziness. I’m sure you’re just one of these people that just like to argue for the sake of it, because nothing you’ve said makes any sense.

FYI, wq’s are kind of required for covenant progression, so that point is void.

Yes because all last expansion people have been complaining about being forced to do WQs. And no, WQs are not require for covenant progression. You can get your 1000 anima passively by just clicking on the mission table twice a day from your phone or by doing dungeons.

What I’m curious about is, if WQs aren’t an important part to you, why do you care?

More WQ whining, wow it never ends.

I am loving the WQ, a few very fun ones out there. For the ones that are less fun, I guess it’s a good thing they only take 3 minutes.

They are important to me. They make up at least half my game time and I choose to do them. My character has progressed just fine via gear through WQs and mission table for the content that I do. Callings are an improvement in that I’m making vastly more gold from them than I did previously and WQs/Dailies have always been something to mindlessly dredge through to fill up a bar to get things I actually want. SL WQs are actually more involved than previous WQs/Dailies but are still short and easy.

there are fewer world quests so they made the ones there are way longer, but with less reward.

So they weren’t important and now they’re important to suit your argument.

Make up your mind. I’m sorry I can’t debate with stupid.

Hard to debate with stupid when you are the stupid. Not that difficult to understand that they’re not important in the grand scheme of things but they’re important to an individual. Sorry that you’re struggling with something as simple as WQs and it has you triggered.
