World quest spawn rates are way too low

I get it’s the start of the expansion but the spawn rates for world quests feel way way way too low.

Agreed, folks shouldn’t be fighting over mobs. unless of course you want a community full of rude and ignorant people. Cause that’s where it starts.

It’s clear that “Recovery Job” in Hallowfall was not tested with more than one player playing.

Too few mobs or items, very slow respawn, either some serious incompetence (most likely) or some idiot thinks players will accept this and keep doing them.

Edit to add: I nope’d that Recover Job lol, as well as the stupid worm one from late last week, and another one to kill seagulls this morning.

Agreed. The WG for recovering plushies was stupid. I’m like, I see the plushy RIGHT THERE WHY CAN’T I CLICK IT!.

this is just another thing that makes me wonder if this exp was half baked.

That was such a bad WQ design on so many levels, it’s easy to forget that blizzard has over 20 years of experience in making quests. That felt like someone new making their first world quest…

That’s a good way to describe it. It seems like they 1) rushed it when they really didn’t need to and 2) they sacrificed dealing with a bunch of QoL bugs for the sake of having a smooth launch (for once). I think the launch was great, so they succeeded with that at least.

The tool one annoyed me yesterday, I would see the yellow dot and move to it but somene else was already there. I ended up camping a couple spots for a bit, and half the time it was a bomb or a spider, took way longer than it needed to.
Seagull one wasn’t to bad for me though, thankfully.

I spent half and hour trying to complete this quest. The worm one in the ringing deeps OMG they hit and spit hard. The plushy one had me shaking my head with tears in my eyes I could not believe we actually paid for this and the sea gulls one, WOW just WOW…wtf.

It took 2 days to do the worm quest in the Ringing Deeps because it was always busy, tons of players just killing the worms right as they spawned, and then it would take a few minutes for respawn. The gem one? The gems were almost insta-respawning. You’d loot a gem, turn around, and it’s respawned.

I loved doing WQs on alts in DF, but now they’re just terrible due to how long they take. That nerubian one is annoying as well, this big open area and only a few spawn at a time at the edges of the area.
