My Pally just did the Dragon Flight world quest, Surge Breaker. Completed it and DID NOT RECEIVE THE 272 LEVEL WYRM FORGED ARMPLATES. It has been a very long time since this issue has poked it’s
head up. Nothing in the mail. Sigh.

I had the same thing happen. I opened a ticket and they said that 1) I either saw the wrong reward, or 2) my addons interrupted the reward. In the history of my playing wow this has never happened. I just think they dont want to take any accountability. As regards their first point I replied that I didn’t receive any reward at all. But, they didn’t seem to care.

I have been fooled by this world quest twice. First it teased me with a 372 wrist and today with 372 hands. Got nothing both times.

This happened to my Demon Hunter a couple of days ago, it offered a glove upgrade but delivered nothing.
I tried it again on this character this morning with the offer of 392 gloves. Once I finished the quest I received Alexstrasza’s thank you message, 250 rep for Valdrakken and Wrathion and Primal Chaos x3. The on-screen box that appears after completion just had her message, no picture of the quest reward item.
It did give the reward on my Death Knight though, using same addons on both characters. I’m so sick of the crap this game serves up
