Alright, Who was the brilliant designer who decided to have a bunch of world quests with items that are one time looted by literally anyone and respawn every 5 minutes?
I completely love chasing around a WQ to get an item as someone else snipes it from me and I spend another 30 minutes doing what should have been a couple of minute world quest.
GET IT SORTED GUYS! These items should not be individual first loot, my experience with these world quests has been the most frustrating garbage ive ever had to deal with.
See an item i need, head to it, oh someone else got it, oh im in combat cant loot someone stole it, guess ill wander around again hoping to steal it from someone else because clearly its not designed for me to do it properly.
You are punishing players with this BS for no reason. its not needed or necessary. Change items to be looted multiple times by players so they can accomplish the quests and move on with their life. If I have to continuously fight other people for loot spawns, im out and never doing WQs again as its not fun or enjoyable.

I came here specifically to see if anyone else was tilted about this. Regular quest items can be looted by multiple people… WHY IS THIS LIKE THIS? There’s people literally camping spots for spawns. This is INSANE. I rage quit.

I’ve had issues with two world quests today. One involved seagulls being faction locked in a very small quest area with too many players hunting seagulls. No WQ mob should be faction locked in this day and age. In fact, no mob should be faction locked.
The second issue was with a quest involving looting boxes in a zone full of “guarding” mobs. Ninja looting FTW is apparently the new old way of frustrating players.
I actually have abandoned several quests because I am not fast enough to fight for the items against other players. Yeah, that Gull Island thing is one. There are several quests out there that I just cannot do because I am not fast enough, or I am looking in a different direction, or the things spawn so slowly I cannot keep wasting so much time there…
Like: I have to burn deepflayer nests - abandoned
kill worm - abandoned
get/reclaim (?) minerals - abandoned
i hate that I am the one killing the baddies, while another player comes along & takes the item and I am stuck with nothing for the WQ. Yeah, that seems fair. /s
