World quest groups

I hope this is not a repeat…
When a group for a 5-person group boss for a world quest forms (one that you will not get credit if you are in a raid) in the group finder feature, it is obvious it knows the boss is a 5-person because it de-lists your group automatically. So why then does it automatically convert your group to a raid sometimes? Can that be fixed?

I’m tired of not getting credit for the kill because the group leader didn’t know it got converted to a raid.

I sometimes have this problem too. I’m not sure if it’s an add on doing it or the game.
