can you please just fix the loot box drop locations and make it so raid groups get put in their own shards. its actually so dumb that raid groups of people are going around and locking down whole shards and camping WQ’s. also why is there a horde and ali imbalance in world pvp anymore? you guys choose how many and who are in each shard… like why am i actually getting killed by 20+ alli in undermine?
This is really the only problem with Undermine world pvp imo.
They need to not have crates drop in the Bilgewater Flats area.
The crates are meant to be fought over by both factions yet you have people stopping members of their own faction from getting it.
Just had a horde guild group sitting at the chest when it dropped there intentionally stopping all horde from looting it while BM’ing in chat till the chest despawned
Super fun stuff /s
This is nothing new. Crates drop in the pvp area in Isle of Dorn and people are too dumb to realize they’re fighting their own faction 99% of the time.
Undermined is some of the most fun WPvP I’ve had in a long time.
Nah some ppl know and are just jerks
You just need to get good bro
Na man if your nameplate is red you getting attacked. Thats on blizz dont look at me
Most annoying part of PvP in Undermine are the guards near the Intercontinental Hotel. Don’t even bother PvPing near there, guards hurt.
Except when they don’t. I was PvPing outside there for like 30 minutes before I even noticed there were guards, and only because they came after me. I still don’t know what causes them to actually aggro or spawn as it seemed so inconsistent.
Whenever you attack another player, if that person runs to the guards (and they haven’t done anything to damage you or others) the guards will aggro to whoever last damaged that player.
If you, as a healer, starts to heal the player that’s being attacked by the guards, they will then attack you. It’s all proximity based and whether you’ve engaged in aggressive PvP combat or have healed someone engaging in aggressive PvP combat.
That’s what I’d expect from neutral guards, but the guards were just absent or didn’t do anything most of the time. People kept running back to the sanctuary zone, but nothing happened.
It does suck, I agree. By the way, I like your name, OP.
But this area is so much smaller.
In the other areas like you mentioned, people would often move away from the chest allowing someone to tag it.
While I don’t understand why they have guards in a sanctuary area, it is still fun AF to get attacked, run into the hotel, and watch as a batallion of them run out and one-shot someone. lol
It’s the only thing protecting my Horde character though when it’s 10 ally vs me lol
The area is a sanctuary, that’s protection enough to be honest lol.
You mean like the very top of the tower in the PvP area in Isle of Dorn? Because you’re right, that area is huge
People can jump off the tower.
Regardless, the point I was trying to make is that people stopping their own faction from looting the chest isn’t as prevalent as it is in Undermine.
Oh yes it is, lol.
Experiences may vary I suppose.
But literally almost every time I’ve seen a crate drop in that spot in Undermine, it always ends up despawning due to being up for too long.
In every other location, I haven’t seen it do that. One faction gets it eventually.
I can kinda understand that since Undermine is new content and where people are hanging out nowadays. That particular drop can be a real mosh pit sometimes.
But the thing is that people not paying attention around crate drops in FFA zones has been happening since Dragonflight.
