Thank you. Finally someone was able to speak to the fact that the vast majority of players aren’t 60. This is a HUGE factor for the many frustrated folks out there.
I am still going to kill the metaphorical you when i see you out in the open world. I will still follow you across zones pull mobs i to and vanish so you have to tank them all while i stunlock you. I have been to Ss/Tm twice. Thats not solo camping farm spots and nodes and those big raid battles have nothing to do with it.
id imagine that you can kill an ally as soon as you see one if you’re a horde, but I’m not sure if sticking around to corpse camp them, for honor or not, would be breaking RP
There is a place between “pvp should be voluntary” and “zergfest” - it is “pvp with balanced population” (faction-based queues)
While it’s unplayable on Arugal for me, I don’t think on a PvP server, pvp has to be voluntary after you logged in your character because it would be no longer a dangerous place where I have to play smart and improve my skills and prepare for both good and bad surprises
If you enjoy the dangerous nature of pvp servers, better speak up for healthy server population. If you enjoy more relaxed and voluntary pvp, pve is designed for that.
I love how people say roll PvE server then. Because i like to pvp, world pvp should be fun and happen ever so often, NOT for you to RUN INTO 10 man groups constantly at certain locations where you cant do what you need to do, even leveling a alt or leveling up in general if you started late and didnt jump on hype train asap.
Also when you say “Then go to PvE server” your probably one of those sheet Pvpers who cant kill anyone but afks or 50-59s because your actually THAT BAD AT THE GAME, so to make your self feel better you warrior it up in 10+ man groups and camp out FP for level 50s and dungeons and quest spots. Well played. your so good at the game let them give you a medal.
I’m new to WoW. This is my first WoW experience. I’m sure that there are others out there like me. This mentality of “Roll on a PVE server” as a response to encountering zergs is plain, old and tired. You don’t roll on PVP server because you want to get griefed, you roll be cause you enjoy the thrill of a good fight. Dying 10+ times getting to Dire Maul because of a choke point or escaping one zerg on your way to BRM only to encounter 4 more before you get where you need isn’t what solo PVPers sign up for. You end up dying 5 - 10 times just to get to a safe place to level up. At some point you are going to need to go sell and run back. If you don’t have that much time to play. You could easily just spend 1 hour + waiting for a zerg to leave the location. Being that or just dying over and over again.
Anyway, like the others, this post won’t help. It will probably not get read.
“Roll on a PVP server” ftw. This forum. Why do I come here?
