"World of Warcraft was unable to start up 3D acceleration" URGENT

Hey Everyone!

So, i’ve been playing WoW Retail normally for the past 2-3 months but suddenly i started getting this message error around 1 week ago, it basically crashes and closes the game… I already checked everywhere on the forum and couldn’t find a solution…
Things i already tried:

  • Checking all my drivers, Windows and BIOS for updates(everything is up to date)
  • Disabling all overlays (specially discord)
  • Running WoW as administrator
  • Changing WoW compatibility to Windows 7
  • Running on fullscreen and windowed
  • Trying different configs
  • I also got in contact with Dell to check if there was something wrong with my hardware and everything is completely fine, they also made me use the OS Recovery system/Windows clean install, the problem still persists

That’s my laptop config:
Microsoft Windows 11 home single language
Version 10.0.26100 Comp 26100
Intel 13th Gen Core i5-13540HX, 2400Mhz
BIOS: Dell inc 1.19.0
16GB RAM
Geforce RTX 4050 6GB

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if you also tried completely deleting the drivers, restarting, and doing a fresh install. If you had no issues prior, maybe trying an older version of the card drivers? Should be able to get older drivers online.

Already tried both things, fresh installing and older drivers ;(

Have you tried the different DirectX options in WoW?
Is your laptop always plugged in?
Are the temperatures within normal range?
Are you running a power-saving power plan for your laptop?

-For the DirectX, yeah i also tested DirectX 11 and it didn’t change anything
-90% of the time plugged
-They around 85-92(which is normal using everything on ultra and i have that same temperature with other games too running fine)
-I’m not sure what that means, sorry, but i’ve been using the same since i started using the laptop, never had any problem(i bought it this year)
