Has it been announced if all characters account wide are part of warbands or can only have so many characters per warband? Also this may be a stupid question but any idea when the warband system will come into thee game? Obviously when The War Within releases though I am curious if they plan on releasing it sooner. I don’t think it would be a bad thing if they fed somethings into the game if the system for it was ready. I’m not even talking pre patch either. You can say drip a little content out before hand try to have people looking forward and get hyped for whats next so for people who havent pre ordered yet do.
As far as I was aware from what was told @ Blizzcon: It’s only so many characters per warband.
At least so far. Keep in mind, as they always say – What they’ve announced & shown, is always subject to change. 
Warband is account wide — all your characters. The select screen that shows them huddled together will only show a few of them, but the benefits of the warband system apply to all characters on the account.
And it’ll come with TWW. They’re not going to add the entire system sooner just to wet players’ appetites.

Your most likely right I give you that. Though call me odd for thinking this way stranger things have happen. Plus you can say one can dream they would do something like that. As long its not a core system or feature that would ruin everything they have planned maybe its just me. I guess what I’m trying to say is in some cases wouldn’t be bad to do some things sooner rather then later and as long as it doesnt ruin anything no harm in teasing the player base for whats to come next and more.
Bah, unacceptable! I want all 60 of my toons on screen at once! In stadium seating, or in a big auditorium.
We were told the opposite, actually.
All characters will be in our warband, regardless of faction, but only a few will be able to be in the warband selection screen. (So the others will be in the same menu as always)
Maybe this sounds stupid but I think it would be interesting if you got some kind of camp or base you could go to in the world like your own fort you go inside and you can see all your warband and could just be doing solo content you could go there and have another character as a companion. You have to gear and spec them yourself when you play them and thats the roll they will take on as your companion.
I know there not doing that.
Like some kind of… garrison?

Funny enough — I made a forum thread ages ago suggesting for a feature like warbands & their alt friendly features … and had loads of people telling me how it was a dumb idea, “No!” – along with how it’d “Remove the accomplishments & efforts” of theirs and the most common one was how apparently “Most WoW players don’t play alts.” (and argued I was a fool for believing otherwise) – So I felt extremely vindicated when Blizzards said most percentage of WoW players have & play alts frequently lol
Does anyone know if they will be adding the ability to share recipes from professions amongst the war band?
I know that each alt would need to learn their gathering skills by themselves but as for the trade skills (cooking, inscription, leather working, etc) could they learn the recipe’s of a prior expansion from another member of the warband who had already aquired the skill?
