Maybe open world running around or dragon flying…but dungeons, raids, and PVP would be impossible.

Dragon riding I would get motion sick.

I’ve tried first-person tanking as a gnome before, it was a disaster. :robot::shield:

…although it would be a neat spin off if we had warcraft VR making a parody of goblin and gnome engineering. :robot::thought_balloon:

They tried a 3D thing with Nvidia years ago. I guess it didn’t do well since it is no longer available. I think that VR would also be such an experiment that won’t last.

I think it would be better to jump into the VR space with a new game using the Warcraft IP or rework something like Heroes of the Storm exclusively for VR.

Hmmmm.

Experimentation needed.

This game would need to have combat redesigned for VR to work.

in theory, very.
in practice?
terrible.

also a guy already set up his vr headset to play wow in.

Normally I don’t get motion sick in VR personally…but Dragonriding would 100% do it. There’s a couple flight sims out there now for VR and they about make me sick every time I try.

Motion casting/motion fighting w/haptic gloves would be sweet.

Wait, really? This is the first I’m hearing about that.

Not with the current graphics. Not enough stuff to interact with and first person in this game is really not that great. Especially in combat.

Honestly, I’m looking forward to it when it happens so I can get totally immersed in the game :3

Tanking Ragnaros in first person was a lot of fun, but my eye doctor says to never do it again. c:

Agreed.

Infact what people really want is the bring the world of WoW into Reality not play the Game in First Person with their eyes glued to the screen.

When Humanity learns how to preform FTL travel(breaking the so called Laws of Physics) then they may be advanced enough to bring WoW to Reality and make Magic a Reality.

What if they made it to where you needed to do the motion of the spells for them to work? Imagine trying to do something like spinning crane kick :joy:
