I might be traveling to a geographic location that has no internet provider service. I might be there several months.
I know there is no Wow single player game. So I ask for advice on which games are there
that are similar to playing Wow that I could load into a gaming laptop that might simulate the Wow experience. In a single player offline game.
Yes I understand that Wow is massive. So I will settle for a game that is similar to Wow mechanics in a more restricted version. I have googled but the only games that come close are Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect and Dragons Dogma. All of which I already have and played to tears.
Also having a party of NPCs as companions would be nice to mimic the dungeons run experience.
I figured if anyone would know of games as I described I would find them in the Wow forum.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Dragon Age is really good, and so is Dogma.
I haven’t tried ME but heard good things as well.
Personally, I would never be able to recommend a WoW-like single player game. WoW, and MMOs in general, are absolutely crippled from a gameplay perspective because of the structure of the MMO space. MMOs compensate with their social features. Without those social features, I do not see the appeal at all.
go pick up pretty much any CRPG
pathfinder kingmaker and wrath of the righteous are both really good
divinity original sin 2 is one of the greatest games of all time and anyone that says otherwise is wrong and a doodoo head.
pillars of eternity is also very solid
much better then that zelda cartoon lol

kingdoms of amalur reckoning is the most mmo’ish singleplayer rpg
Fully DLC’d up Witcher 3 will keep you busy for a long time.
As a side tangent to the OP, I still see conflicting definitions of “ARPG”. Isometic RPG’s have always been CRPG’s in my head. As an older gamer coming from a time when there were fewer being made and easier to bundle them into one category, I guess I can get stuck in outdated labels on games
Back to the OP - Diablo 3 can be played offline if you’re on console.
For PC I’d have to agree with what’s already been suggested; “Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning” looks a LOT like WoW. The 2012 original, especially.
That game was great. My only issue was that it became repetitive after a while, to the point I started rushing through dungeons just to get quests/story completed.
OP, you eliminated a bunch of suggestions I would’ve had…but you could always go for FF VII Remake, FF XV, Dragon Quest, or any of the Tales Series (I.E. Tales of Arise, Berseria, Zesteria, etc). Hogwart’s Legacy is a great rpg too with lots of dungeons, crafting, etc.
Morrowind
Skyrim
BOTW
Anything Zelda TBH
Oblivion
Path of Exile
All of the Borderlands
Final Fantasies
Divine Divinity
Dungeon Siege
Arktwend
Enderal
Minecraft
Sim City
Magicka
Those will keep you going for a long time

forgot the best one morrowind
have fun with the cliff racers

There are some good games being recommended, but none of them have the same smooth combat as WoW. It has been a bit of an annoyance for me. I would love to get a first person game that has the same feel as playing a mage or druid.
If I can ever find one that has a similar feel, I will give it a try and see if it scratches the itch when I cannot be connected to the internet.
Horizon: Zero Dawn and its sequel are pretty good! More like Zelda than WoW I guess…
It’s got a leveling system, crafting system, roaming packs of mobs, long story, quests, exploring…
Not that similar but a cool game to look into, you can try God of War 4 but if you really want that WOW feel you can try any DS game.
Honestly I’d love if Blizzard could make some single player games (similar game design to perhaps Zelda or maybe God of War etc) of the main character’s stories / arch’s on consoles & PC.
Like the journey of Thrall or Arthas and maybe even Varian, or pre sundering adventure of Tyrande, Malfurion and Illidan. I’d play the heck out of those games!
