It is time. The movie was only mid and a sequel is unlikely to happen.
However we have multiple video game media doing much better now.
I think warcraft would do better as a TV show. Preferably animated.

Azeroth is a great place for an animated series! A lot to explore! Im with you
if it gets animated keep it from amazon and sometimes netflix
netflix is doing great imo. we got the witcher, the league of legends one was very good too, the cyberpunk edgerunners is very good! keep away from amazon I agree. They butchered the Wheel of Time! ![]()
Yeah I think Netflix would be good, they did awesome with Lost in Space, Stranger Things and a few others imo.
Idk if any of you have watched The Dragon Prince: Mystery of Aaravos, but it’s pretty good and the new season just started.
not with the recast of henry cavill
like i said netflix is a hit or miss
Why? Vox Machina is flawless.
amazon tends to can some shows after season one that why stay away from amazon
Really? That’s more Netflix’s gig. Haven’t noticed that problem with Amazon.
In fact Wheel of Time is getting two more seasons when a lot of people would rather it hadn’t gotten one lol
also the “rings of power” (not even lotr related)
A sitcom, kinda like Big Bang Theory or maybe Married With Children type of humor, but about a family that plays WoW all day, and they have a very skinny dog because they rarely stop playing WoW long enough to feed it, and they are 3 months behind on rent and the landlord is always asking for it.
And they survive by selling gold and carrying other players, and the 8 year old (rogue) is the best player among them. Bryan Cranston could play the dad, (hunter) Chris Pratt as the son who wont get a job and move out (shaman)
I hear netflix will green light anything.
I could see an anthology working out best; lots of small one shot stories with different persepctives, genres and tones.

Nah. If you really chunk out the WoW storyline you can see why they do 3 minute cinematics to sell the experience.
The world itself is flat, boring and full of normie thoughts. Some would call it fanfiction but what you ultimately have is a desert.
Good writing takes many years of pulling together a multitude of plot lines into an amazing climactic end. It doesn’t just spontaneously appear. WoW has never really done justice to the IP. Especially not in the story. Much of it comes off as contrived because it is.
if they did a
Married With Children with the same cast it would be canceled
Worth noting that Netflix has given us the best animated series of all time with Arcane.
and castlevania but they do kill other shows also like the halo one lol
I will have to check it out, I had never heard of it, no big surprise as Neilsen reports there are now more then 817,000 individual TV programs available to choose from. I bet I already missed some good ones.
Overall, Netflix has been the best streaming service for medieval fantasy shows, both live action and animated.
Would love an animated show to be done however I see one problem. At its core Warcraft is about two warring factions both with large fan bases. Usually a cartoon would focus on one side and makes the other out to be the villains. In order to appeal to everyone I think you would need a cast of both horde and alliance characters but that doesn’t work in the current lore.
