In 9.0.0 Blizzard will set the level limit to 60 And will set us in the beginning to level 55. The last 5 level are in the new continent ‘The Black Empire’, which will appear in the south of Ahn’Qiraj as a big island on the map where the old Ulduar was.

To reach the Black Empire you are forced through a quest in which Sargeras Sword will get destroyed by using the full power of the heart of Azeroth. At the same time it will lose his power.
In Azeroths Wound (The area where the sword was) is a cave which leads to the Black Empire, you cannot fly or swim to there because it is a continent under the sea bottom.
In the Storyline of the Black Empire we have to quest through different areas:
The black Empire (It’s one of the biggest countries and the only land in the new continent.) , Ny’alotha, Emerald Dream, ShadowLands and NORTHEND (Yes, this is not fake.)
N’zoth will be allied with us and we will support C’thun and Yogg-Saron;
They decided to change their mind and will fight the Void with us.
(This is hard to believe, i know. But you will see.)
The first Raid will be in Northend and is a remake of Ulduar in which we will fight the titans and rescue Yogg-Saron. I’m not sure whether we will see some of the bosses of the old Ulduar, but for sure we will fight Mimiron, Freya, Hodir and Thorim. (C’thun is helping us in this raid. He is casting abilities and give us a buff.)
The second raid will be in the ShadowLands with Hakkar as last boss.
The raid will be called: Holy Temple of Death.
In this raid we will fight some cool lore characters:
Bwonsamdi (We will not kill him, he will surrender and help us fighting Hakkar in the last phase), Horror of Vol’Jin, Arthas the Lich King, Gorak Tul and more.
(Yogg-Saron is supporting us through the whole raid. He is casting abilities and give us a buff.)
The third Raid will be in Ny’alotha and is called: Prison of N’zoth.
In the first wing of the Prison we are not really fighting in the Prison of N’zoth.
The Pantheon is coming and want to reset our world because we killed the titans of Ulduar and work together with the old gods.
The pantheon is the first boss.
The second boss is Sargeras. We will free him and we are fighting with illidan against Sargeras. In the last phase we all will die and Illidan sacrifice himself to revive us and to weaken Sargeras, he uses the power of Sargeras against himself.
For the last phase we are out of control because we all are addicted to Fel.
Illidan dies while this fight and after Sargeras died all the Fel will get removed from the world.
The first wing only has 2 bosses.
After we killed almost all titans the Void will appear and we are fight it in the rest of the raid. The last boss will be a Void Lord, Sylvanas will almost die in this fight but Anduin saves her, since then Sylvanas is not a Banshee anymore, she will be a living bloodelf again.
(N’zoth is helping us in this raid. He is casting abilities and give us a buff.)
There will be a short 4th raid at the end of 9.4.
In this raid are only 3 bosses:
N’zoth, C’thun and Yogg-Saron.
The raid will be in the Emerald Dream.
After the old gods fought together with us against hard enemies they want to kill the other old gods and us.
But because we cannot fight all of them alone we can ask one of the old gods for help.
If we ask C’thun for help he is helping us with abilities and buffs,
but we cannot kill C’thun in this ID anymore!
If you kill all 3 old gods without help a mount is dropping.
This was the Lore and the Raids
Now we see a brand new talent/class system coming with 9.0.0
We will not see any Speccs anymore.
A deathknight is a deathknight, and a warrior is a warrior.
There is no fire, arcane or frost mage now… It’s just a mage.
We will a complex talent tree which has far more than 200 possibilities how you can skill. In each level you get a talent point which you can use for skilling.
There is no more possibility to upgrade a talent tree skill.
In Classic you had 0/1 -> 0/5 talents. 0/5 talents needed 5 talent points to be at the maximum. In 9.0.0 you only will see 0/1 talents.
There will be new Equipment stats: +1-10 Talent Points
If you unequip one of this equipment parts your talent tree is red (disabled) and you cannot use it while fighting (YOu are playing with 0 talents at this moment).
But you are able to remove talents of your talent tree for free by rightclick it.
You are playing your class like you want!
In 9.0.0 you have one very big talent tree.
Your attacks/abilities are very weak in the beginning.
As example the Death Strike as Death Knight:
It is doing little dmg but no more.
With the talent tree you can use skill points to:
0/1 - Increase the damage of the Death Strike by 300%
0/1 - Death Strike will heal for 50% of it’s damage
0/1 - Death Strike will Crit at each use.
But there is more:
0/1 - Army of Dead will summon double amount of ghouls
0/1 - Army of Dead is summoning each enemy that you killed in the last 5 minutes.
Mage:
0/1 - Your Frost Bolt is slowing enemies.
0/1 - Your shield will absorb 10% of your max. health of incoming damage.
You can skill the attacks you want to use, you will fight as your own character and not like everyone.
And there is more, there will be Hybrid talents with other classes.
When you reach level 60 with your mage, he is unlocking:
Hybrid-Talents: Mage
When you playing Death Knight you can see one talent:
0/1 - Mirror Weapon (Hybrid Mage)
Mirror Weapon: Creates 3 copies of your weapon, they do the same attacks as you.
And there are more Hybrid talents for every class.
And there is more!
We will see big new PvP Content and a new phasing system for Warmode Phasing.

As Level 20 you can choose EACH continent to level your character, each continent will scale to 60. Until Level 20 you have to stay on Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms.
