Anyone else having these issues?? where the game loads and then stops responding. like froze in time.
I had tried scan and fix, uninstall and install, and so far, nothing
It’s been 2days like this and already summit a ticket.
Last patch I have a similar situation and had to wait until the next weekly maintenance for the game to be completely functional.

Is this classic specific or retail you’re seeing this problem?
Saw retail mentioned very briefly, hah.
If that’s the case, are you getting stuck on a specific screen? or after a specific event/button click?
As soonest the game loads it freezes, had try switch to my alts but still…
Freezes as in how? Gets to a full blue loading bar and… well, halts?
Or black screens/needs to be alt f4’d?

Guessing you may want to post in the tech support forum if my suggestion below doesn’t work.
Go to your windows task bar. Far right, there’ll be a few icons and probably a date/time stamp. Probably an arrow pointing up.
Click that arrow. Do you see the blue/white swirly blizzard icon? right click it. You should see an option to exit.
Click exit.
Try and start the battle.net client up again. You may need to log in again, but hopefully not. Once the client loads up again, take a look and see if any updates are pending.
Edit: In theory, this should force the client to recognize updates or at least that something has changed.
If you’re still seeing that blue bar, head to the tech support forum. Might be addon problems if you have any… but… The folks there are generally pretty solid. Hopefully they can help. A full UI reset as Sendryn suggests is also a possibility.
This sounds like addon problems.
Try exiting the game, deleting your cache folder and do a full UI reset.
Even if it isn’t addons. These are all the first troubleshooting steps.
Fix! Yea, it was an addon problem. Had to uninstall everything, including addons, then reinstall and upgrade addons. Almost 3days working on this issue
