Now if i knew everything I now know and think back on all the times we needed allies to help save the world I think I’d be very likely increasing the odds that one of those doomsday scenarios actually succeeds. If you think about it though it has been rather dark in Warcraft as we’ve had two groups whose worlds were either ended or nearly ended and yet they still are at each others throats.
So that all said I think while a cool idea I don’t think this is the way to move forward and it’ll serve as another Warlords type expansion. You know another alternate universe type thing which made everything feel kinda pointless.

Can I not just give Gul’dan some hugs, a nice home, and a feeling of belonging in his community? Then be peaceful with the Draenei when they arrive working to build a better life for everyone on Draenor. I would also build forces to watch for any portals coming from Azeroth because they need to keep their issues to themselves.
Also maybe tap the ground a few times to see if there is a world soul there.
