I think emails or Battle.net notifications would have been better as they stay outside of the game and don’t diminish immersion. Please don’t put retail handouts into Classic.
The extra backpack slots feel dirty since they weren’t part of Vanilla and are unearned through playing the game itself. Can we opt out of the bonus slots?
I don’t play on a low pop server. I’m asking because Blizzard long ago said they would address this if it became an issue and they should be kept to their word. Farming harder and xfering to a new server are not solutions.
can always look @ the cumulative empirical rates before and after 1.10 (so ~1.9 and ~1.12) on archive and see if it was changed in 1.10 along with the mentioned items. i expect it will also be getting increased.
e: to follow up- the empirical drop rates on circle of flame on thottbot and allakhazam archives do appear to show an increase over patch 1.10, with thottbot showing 0.1% prior
https://web.archive.org/web/20070410160219/http://www.thottbot.com/i11808
with the drop rate between the periods approximately 0.9% (so if there was an increase in the period the new value should be at least this much).
similarly with allakhazam, the drop rate prior at 0.2%
i would expect the circle of flame drop rate on classic to change from ~0.2% currently
(https://classic.wowhead.com/item=11808/circle-of-flame) to 1%+ after the july 28th patch.
The new threat changes are horrible. They update super slowly, it looks to be in 2 second intervals. Was so much better before you guys decided to work your magic touch on it
