“Azeroth is a dangerous place, but remember that this is a game that you are playing for fun. Be good to each other.”
Getting to quest hubs is a long task and safety isn’t guaranteed. In addition there are combat mechanics that will trigger your character to be flagged to be murdered by another player and not an NPC.
According to Microsoft,
"To get to the Badlands as a Horde player, you have a couple of solid routes:
From Arathi Highlands: Start at Undercity and head south through the Wetlands. You’ll find a tunnel that leads into Loch Modan. Once you’re in Loch Modan, just keep heading south, and you’ll eventually find your way into the Badlands. This route is generally safer and avoids the more dangerous areas.
Via Gnomeregan: If you’ve completed the quests from Nogg in Orgrimmar, you can use the goblin transponder to teleport to Gnomeregan. From there, head east through the tunnel to Loch Modan and continue south into the Badlands. This route is a bit quicker but be prepared for some mobs along the way.
Searing Gorge Route: If you’re feeling adventurous and are at a higher level, you can go through the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge. Just be cautious, as this area has some tougher mobs.
While traveling, keep an eye out for the various creatures in the Badlands, like coyotes and vultures. They can be a nuisance, but they also provide some decent XP if you’re up for a fight! And don’t forget to grab the flight path at Kargath once you arrive; it’ll make future travels much easier.
• Horde characters trespassing in an Alliance protected area covered by guard patrols, which will flag you for PVP for 5 minutes
• An Alliance character flagged for PVP will be able to kill your character
Now all of these areas are dangerous to Horde players and some actively are camped out by alliance playing people who indulge in murdering your character and stopping you from enjoying Azeroth and doing dungeons and quests in Eastern Kingdoms.
The only solution that is truly safe is to pay other players in game gold to teleport.
As stated again by Microsoft.
When you create a Hardcore character, you have to consent to a popup that educates you that by playing on Hardcore, you can die in multiple ways and may not even be in control of what finally kills your character. It is an accepted part of playing in Hardcore.
While dishonorable to lurk / camp an area waiting for Horde characters to enter PVP, there isn’t anything against policy here. It doesn’t feel nice to be on the end of being murdered, but we cannot intervene to action that player because they used an opportunity to engage another flagged player in PVP.
So be safe, enjoy Azeroth and all the Non-Player Characters you can battle and enjoy, steer clear of other opposing Players as they are hostile to your enjoyment and do not want your progress to continue.
Save up your gold and be sure to spend it on the bots providing summon/teleporting services to make more gold.
