I just love how people seem to want a more expensive version of the game then the one we have now. And these people just want a version of World of Warcraft with unreal engine 5 and going all high and mighty with the graphics and only cater to those who is fortunate enough to have the money to build a expensive computer to play it and yet, failed to realize an mmo requires a lot of players to make money and be accessible for a wider audience that can’t own a expensive computer to play the game as well. These World of Warcraft 2 people just want to be selfish and want a game where the majority can’t have access to the game and also unreal engine 5 can’t match what World of Warcraft currently have nice artwork and animation as it’s design.
there will never be a world of warcraft 2 they are to busy milking the corruent player base to care to release a new game much like gta 5 does,

WoW is it’s graphic, I wouldn’t have it any other way, I like the style.
If they wanted to do an unreal engine game it would have to be a single player (with maybe small multiple hop in) rpg set in the Warcraft world in my opinion.

Agree completely. The world of warcraft style is part of the charm! I love those little red checkboxes with little teeny bean boxes on the corners, and morpheus font. Yes, some of my characters look they got slapped from the Bronx to Fresno, but it’s part of the experience and I’m here for it!

Laughing at the thought of people claiming WoW 2 will kill WoW, only to have WoW 2 go f2p after a year while WoW still dominates.
The games greatest competitive asset is nearly 20 years of collection game content that you can do during content droughts. Mogs, achievement, pets, and mounts. So you get bored, go try the new MMO of the month, run out of content there, then there’s always that collection game you can come back to.
Rebuilding all of that would be extremely expensive and risky.

If WoW went all “realistic” graphics it would just look generic and boring. I like the style of WoW.

Imagine one thousands years in the future. Imagine a period of true peace that last for nearly 300 years. Imagine the shattering of this 300 years of peace. Imagine jumping into the game as a Orc and it is your mission to gather allies and form the new Horde! All by the time you hit level 10 . Imagine this new world with new animal species to hunt to befriend to warship. Imagine a peaceful beautiful world on the verge of total ruin as it is dragged into another endless war.
Imagine all the possibilities of interracial hybrids such as a playable Orc/Human race called The Garona.
Imagine the possibilities of a hybrid classes such as the Rogue/Hunter class called Slayer.
Just imagine.

See. I think if they went with a WoW 2, it should go the opposite direction.
Be made for a console instead of an expensive PC. I love how my PS5 has amazing graphics and was 1/4 of the price of my PC.
