True. They haven’t even kept true to their promise to release StarCraft 3. The promised added race. Been almost 10 years.
Sign me up for a World of Starcraft MMORPG that improves upon WoW (developers have 15 years of what works and what doesn’t to consider).

Im speaking more about the Activision side of things. Can you imagine their influence on a new MMO? They’d have no preexisting community that could make a reasonable defense against them. WoW has always been a sub-based game and resisted cash shops for the longest because of it, even now Activision is crippled by this as they’d never be able to get away with anything beyond cosmetics without destroying the goodwill of the game.
But a new MMO where they get to set the foundation? Im just imagining a giant psychological cluster f— of addiction strategies and manipulative marketing at play to milk every last dollar from their consumers. It would be awful.
This was/is my prediction for one of the World of Warcraft expansions, a cross over. the Draenei look suspiciously similar to a certain other off world race…

Dead. Its hit or miss there. The vast majority of threads there have one or two responses and some people are making replies a week after the fact.
Last post there was over 6 hours ago apart from one made 12 minutes ago that has zero views.
Some people said StarCraft is WoW in the future. With the Draenei being the protoss, humans being Terrans, and the Zerg arriving
Whenever I go over there they are constantly shocked at how many post I have because of the amount of posts I have here shows there.
I guess unlike wow they don’t get bored as they are always playing the game

It would just be Swtor without lightsabers, as swtor is WoW with lightsabers.
Also, I have a feeling they’ll try to tone down some of the esrb rating.
Metzen confirmed once long ago that Diablo, WoW and StarCraft all take place in the same universe and that WoW and StarCraft both take place in the exact same time period which is the future.
It was left out whether or not Diablo took place in the same time period or not, because its a different creator.
It would be awkward if Sylvanas and Kerrigan met, or if the Diablo Ashbringer somehow made its way to this world.
So this would mean that if wow was real life, what’s happening right now is the Gorion Empire on Draenor is at the height of its power, the Fartriders are being formed, Skettis is being established, and Queen Azshara is imprisoning a kraken. As we are about 500 years before the opening of the Dark Portal.
And by same universe he means our universe. SC universe has Earth on it
So when does Diablo take place?
Yea I know. Alexie Stukov is from Earth.
So if there’s World War 3 the Russians are going to win.
It is Year 2552 in StarCraft right now or perhaps only a few years later. And it takes places during the exact same time as WoW and Diablo do. In the Warcraft Campaign Editor, you get to add Zerglings and Hydralisks to the map if you want and they are referenced. And they appear in a level as an easer egg.
