What’s the deal with WoL these past few days?
Seems like there’s a record low number of people playing, what’s the deal?
Aside from the first day of the pre-patch I’ve yet to encounter any major lag.
If you are referring to Gorgrond, I agree. It is horrendous. If you are referring to Icecrown, I’ve noticed. However - outside those two zones I have nothing to report.
Gorgrond however, is unplayable. Just rage quit because the 10-15 second delay from button press to action. Chat works fine though.
Wait till SL launches nerd , you will see the real lag heh heh

Icecrown is just mobbed with people. There’s probably over a 100 people camping each boss.
It’s only server lag if everybody around you is also lagging.
Could be playing on a potato.
Or downloading something in the background.
I’ve had my lag fixed it seems, only noticeable when I’m at a boss or bag bro with all the others that zerg.
Lag has been iffy this pre patch though FOR ME.
I’ve seen plenty though playing still. It’ll die down for some 'cause of people seeing what it’s about and then wait 'till launch.
I’m on a great machine and I have excellent internet. I’m in Eversong Woods and there’s hardly anyone here.
Had lag on and off all night in different Legion zones. Finally had to take a break cause it was unplayable.
Can confirm having extreme lag in Loch Modan leveling an alt.
blizzard is the type of guy that knows he’s got nasty toes but won’t keep his socks on.
Been seeing this in the last few dungeons I’ve run just now.
Last night around this time I hit pings in the 3000’s. Tried restarting the game and things, nothing.
Ended up restarting the modem and flushing DNS, everything dropped back to 65ms. It was only wow that was lagging hard, but that fixed it for me.
Oh, there are huge lag issues.
Icecrown rares in the beginning were essentially untaggable, but that was to be expected as with any new event.
Tagging Sha was almost impossible this week on the busier realms I have my alts parked. Missed at least a couple tags due to server lag.
The daily reset for a long time was just horrendous in assault zones as well. I stopped doing them, not sure if they are still that way.
Small indie company, as people say. They can’t afford to fix their server problems.
