For me personally I like the old ways, cult of the damned, the scourge, the scarlets, even garrosh as warchief. I was never one for the power of friendship love stuff. Even back to cataclysm having thrall be green Jesus I wasn’t a fan. But now I’d love to go back to that time. The come together for a common purpose trope is old now, it made sense in legion but hasn’t since then. With BFA being the obvious exception

Makes sense to add these now. Who knows, maybe they have been sitting around for a while and just getting added. However, the developers said that Dragonflight was kind of a reset and getting back to basics before returning to the cosmic stories.
With Nerubians and Void in 11.0, it wouldn’t be the time to introduce these fun things for the players to enjoy. We’ll see.
Though, there have been “Dreadlord” sets datamined in the patch as well.
Yeah I only play serious games! Games with toys and trinkets that force you to dance and make train noises! none of that wussy stuff in my edgy game for REAL WoW players!
aka: tell me you haven’t played anything related to retail or paid attention to the actual story without actually telling me.

uh, its a video game. Why would it hurt my feelings? you are the one proudly declaring you cannot handle optional things like fairy wings in a game so you quit playing it. They’re pixels, be an adult and get over it.

We need more of this style. 90% of the cloaks in this game make me yawn. They’re just derivative and uninspired.

Mainly due to your choice to stop playing entirely based on optional cosmetics and a misunderstanding of the themes of the main game.
You have no depth here because you are judging entirely on surface level. Game was always a mix of both.

No. There is a distinctive difference in modern WoW. This entire thread is about it and there are many threads just like this one. Dont play obtuse. WoW has changed and I dont like it. I do love WoW though, and so I am not happy with where WoW has been taken.

It would be cool if the ‘monarch’ wings were functional though… maybe not full flying … but like levitate and slow fall…
