Was about to say this. People get so mad that they add things like this, but why, why can’t we have both. I don’t really see a lot of “can we stop with the bloody heads on sticks and scary stuff in the game”.

I quite despise the anime clothing, but fairy/butterfly wings make some sense with how druids can take on animalistic shapes. Maybe not anyone else, but from a animal thematic theme point I’m chill with this. Or at least, more chill.

Also sorry if that makes you cranky OP, but the roses have been in the game for years now, and there were a ton of butterfly wings in Shadowlands with the Night Fae covenant.

There’s still time to get all of those from the November trading post. It’s not like they’ve suddenly stopped making “badass” cosmetics and items, a couple of nods to people who also like cute things were datamined and people are losing their minds.

I mean, they are okay. I wouldn’t qualify them as badass, more accurately they remind me of just… Recolored or poorly reskinned items I get to ‘happily’ spend my tendies on.

The ones we’ve seen have MOTH wings, from Ardenweald, it’s presumed the Butterfly wings are Dream Faeries, but we haven’t seen them yet. We just know from Dev interviews they exist.
Either way I’m hype AF for these wings, lol.
I don’t spend a lot of time on it, I work on getting elite appearances and such, but I don’t spend a lot of time going to the barber shop just because I hardly have any options. And I do care what my character looks like it’s just not as high on priority list. If you read my full pst then I said it was cool but I want more badass chocies.

There is a clear dichotomy within the current player base. Half seem to like the friendship rainbow love and peace style and the other half likes death destruction impaled bodies and savagery. My only hope is a balance can be struck between the 2 so we can have engaging stories and keep the game alive for another 20 years
