So, i heard that the world first Ragnaros kill by the European guild APES was killed by about 20 level 58 players with green gear, but it was done on a private server. Is that really true? If so, they shouldnt count that as a world first.
No it wasn’t on a private server you moron
They killed it with nearly 40 players on the EU live classic servers, majority of them were level 60.
No Apes killed it on a official classic wow server with 35ish people some lvl 60 some between 55-59
So from what i understand, no one has a clear idea as to what really happened. I have so many people telling me all this info about the world first, yet its all different info. It just seems as if no one really knows what happened.
They streamed it. Plenty of people know what happened.
Then people are liers
It was live streamed on live servers how do we not know what happened 300,000 people watched them kill ragnaros live lol
I didnt watch it. I was told by others what happened.
IMPOSSIBRU

OMG BRO APES KILLT RAG IN 10 SECS WITH 15 LVL 50 PLAYERS ON A PSERVER HOSTED ON URANUS!!1!!1!ONE
I’m having difficulty parsing this.
If you mean the first private server group that killed ragnaros on a private server, then maybe they did do it with such low counts. The first private servers were ludicrously off-base, improving their accuracy has been an iterative process.
If you mean the guild Apes clearing ragnaros on classic proper, and that they are a guild made from people who practiced a lot on the private servers, then yes. That happened. but it was 40 people, in mixed greens and blues, and only a some were under leveled. It’s well known you could get into MC at level 58 though.
Back in TBC I rerolled belf paladin “for the guild”. I was brought in at 68 for Gruul progression. This happened back in vanilla more than people think. People just sucked back then, and it colored many folks’ memories of its actual difficulty.
Anyone who has followed the Classic scene for a while knew this was coming, and also knew this takes nothing away from the experience.
“I heard something from my brother’s girlfriend’s cousin who is married to my uncle’s step-brother … it’s upsetting me … TO THE FORUMS!!”
Never mind a quick google search will provide actually relevant information and likely takes less effort than making a thread so the flames can burn bright upon you.
Hey, you do you though!
