World drop rules in legacy raids?

Just wanted to see what people knew about world drops since I’ve been farming for the flayed demonskin belt mog in heroic HVC, once a week :~).
I got the drop on mythic by chance on my monk when farming for other mogs, but it didn’t give me the option to get the appearance.

  1. Can I only run this on my rogue for the mog?
  2. Also, will I be locked out from getting more drops from trash if i finish the raid, or can I walk out, reset, walk back in and rinse/repeat?

Did you equip the belt? It’s BoE so you won’t get the appearance until you equip it.

I could equip it, but it didn’t have the blue text that said I didn’t have the appearance, so when I did it didn’t change anything :confused:
