World Chat Down / Greyed Out in Legion Content

Unable to talk in general chat, the chats are greyed out. Happening to both me and my bf since yesterday, hasn’t resolved itself. Also can’t see anything being said in any of these chats.

Cannot See Global Chat Channels

I did all of these. It only happens on this character. My other characters are just fine.

Update: Went to Legion Dalaran and all of my chats are back. Trying to go out back into Legion World, however, and the chats immediately grey out again. I get a notification that I have left Dalaran’s chat but I never join any other chats.

Zone chats down?

That’s a known bug. It’s not always constant, but certain zones will sometimes have their chat channels fail, preventing chat while out there. In some cases a server reset causes it to recover. Devs are working on it either way.
