It appears that Ony buff is not correctly applying the buff to people. There are people on the same layer that the buff is being dropped on that are NOT getting the buff even though they see the npc walk and /yell. It does appear to be hitting both layers but theres some people on the opposite layer also complaining of not getting. Please fix this!

I am having a similar issue.
I’ve tried to get Ony buff on my priest 3 times, each time I will be layered with my group and the moment the buff drops, I’m taken into “limbo” or “layer 1.5” in between layer 1 and 2, causing me to miss the buff entirely. As soon as the buff ends, I am transferred to the opposite layer.
There are several people on Whitemane also experiencing the same exact issue and so far I have not found a cause or a fix.
Please help.

It won’t be fixed until they get rid of layering. That’s the disease…these are just symptoms.

Same here, when i logged on to get buffs to go smack some big boy merlocs out in the old wilderness I was suddenly layered mysteriously and did not benefit from the Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer buff. When this occurred it deeply upset me and made it very hard to progress through my daily adventure.

Get rid of layering. I heard there were maybe some de-syncs with the NPCs across layers. This game shouldnt even have layers in the first place
Yes, it is a new issue as of the patch that allowed buffs to be gained from either layers regardless of where it’s dropped.
It shouldn’t be an issue of people resetting the NPCs as several guildies buffed with me at the same time and I am the only one experiencing the issue. We even reset the NPC as a guild. The issue ISN’T that I’m not getting a buff on layer 2 when it’s dropped on layer 1 due to an NPC reset, the issue IS that when I’m on the correct layer or even not, I’m being thrown into a limbo between both the second Ony is dropped, forcing me to miss the buff and animation.
As soon as it’s dropped, I’m thrown back onto one of the layers.
might be cuz of half the server logging in at the same time right before it goes out
Whitemane itself is a broken and ruined server from all the bots and multiboxers. like over 30% of Whitemane’s total population is bots or multiboxing accounts #whitememe
