It is by original design and intent that these buffs should be dispelled. There literally are spells designed specifically to dispel. This is on purpose.
If you don’t like PVP then play on a PVE server.

No PvP solution? I counter this exact situation by keeping an eye out for bodies near dispell hotspots. If I see one, make a quick adjustment to my counterspell macro to include /tar priestguy and keep it spammed.

I like to park my warlock at those logged off ready to pvp, and camp there with my druid in stealth waiting for someone to come pick it. As soon as someone shows, I log in on lock, kill them, and get all their buffs in one go.

I dont think shamans really get to say anything in the dispelling argument. The alliance literally only has 1 class (not a pet) that can dispel, while the horde have 2. If you don’t like it then go purge spam someone else.

The question is why are you there? they have 2 minute respawn timer and you still get caught.
Sheen of Zanza reflects the first spell cast at you, which works on Dispel to buy you some time. You can also buy a ton of those “Scrolls of STR/AGI/STA” that’ll count as magic buffs to get eaten by dispel. Use trash buffs like Waterwalking, Underwater Breathing, Detect Invisibility, or just any buff to eat dispels. Have your guilds second or third raid group other friendly guilds on the server screen for you without buffs to protect your raid from dispellers or counterraids.
Honestly it seems like you just don’t want to put any effort into it but still want the buffs, there’s plenty of PvP solutions to your PvP problems.

This only holds true when you have a universal value on frustration. What may frustrate one person doesn’t bother someone else. There is nothing that will ever be done to combat this issue because dispels were meant to take off buffs. What situation leads up to the buff removal is irrelevant.

It’s added a bit of fun to world buffs imo. If you’re dedicated enough to them you can get them. I won’t tell you the logistics but there are ways to do it even with the dedicated dispellers.
Exactly. If world buffs were mandatory even for progression, would you just quit for the night after your first wipe?
I know a guild who adapted, they have 2 raids, one 40 man raid, and one 10 man raid. the 10 man raid is the PvP team and made up of 10 rogues that clear booty bay of all hostile players which = problem solved. also mages cast their portals to the city just before the buffs go out so that way as soon as you get your buff you port to a city where it is safe. Adapt, Overcome, and Acheive. I get that world PvP sucks for those outnumberd, but you need to adapt to survive.
This. A certain amount of your raid/guild can be sacrificed to put people on timers and get the rest of the raid though. The whole point of a PvP server is to have to come up with solutions like this. People who consider immersion/challenge “griefing” are on the wrong servers.
BUT faction balance is a problem that infects all levels of gameplay. It ups the inherent difficulty level of “pvp solutions” when a huge disadvantage is baked in.

Btw, it IS PVP, and if you don’t like it, you can go to PVE.

Considering this has NEVER happened to me on my PVE server, it kinda makes it part of life on a PVP server.
Ganking lowbies, blocking raid entrances, death runs to the mountain, and yea getting your precious dispelled is PVP. Build a bridge dude, and get over it.

I will be so glad when the game turns stale for the world buff stackers and then the rest of us can play the game.
