but the currency is extremely easy to acquire. you gets tons of it… everyone will probably have enough to buy everything on the vendors by the time they hit 70.
so it trivializes the acquisition of these mounts, which took many people ten years to acquire.
im glad people are thanking op for agreeing with my research and opinion on how the mount change is good and they have said the same thing about the change being good

they can still get the mounts from the world bosses… those were never removed.
if blizzard wanted to put them on a vendor, they should have been put on a vendor ten years ago.

the issue is that the world boss mounts are really quick and easy to obtain in mop remix
I really dislike when someone does this kind of thread without providing any details…
Sha Mount, Introduced in Pandaria with a really low drop %, however; It has been in the BMAH for years since WoD time.
If you’re good at doing gold or just purchase several wowtokens then you got the mount via that option or RNG from Black market container a purchase item.
Then, We’ve the Evoker bug that triggered a lot of mounts for many players, Blizzard didn’t revert the drops from that bug and actually increased the drop % to a proper amount after years of a really bad %.
Now ,We’ve this new grind system and it’s GREAT.
I’ve most mounts in game and I care more about my collection that checking other players, actually I care about other players acquisition of mounts because Blizzard will do more mount achievements if there’s a bigger collector community.
My only issue with this fix and previous fixes to this kind of rare drops is towards Reward Devs that do this after years of grind for some players. I got the mount after 8k attempts 1 year before the Evoker bug, I´m not mad or angry towards fellow players that’ll acquired it now or during previous fixes, I´m only upset that sometimes its just better to wait for proper fixes.
Now if we continue with this trend and approach future rewards will be goals that you can work towards it.
World bosses mounts were a massive time sink that didn’t involve any effort besides using an army of alts which you can purchase via character boost if you’re rich and be AFK 15-20 mins between Boss respawns…
Farming the Sha was an awful experience…0 gameplay a boss that died in 2 seconds, being afk waiting while watching series or playing another game???
We need rewards that are goals and you can grind via active gameply.
Devs are doing the right thing and that´s my TED TALK.

You just summed up the entire premise of remix.
It’s an accelerated version of mop with op stuff.

you still had to overcome the RNG of the Black Market, which can take as long, if not longer, than a rare mount drop chance.
yeah many people have thousands of attempts on every boss.
the premise of mop remix is to re-live the expansion - obtaining world boss mounts from a vendor was not available in original mop.
Yes… but at an accelerated rate.
You should probably reread the about me page of mop remix.
But that still doesn’t change the fact that it isn’t retail.
