yeah most people would unsub for that reason, especially when they know that a remix event will come soon and they can get all those grindy mounts for free.
Those mounts have been exclusive to people that got lucky drops for over 10 years. Thatâs plenty of time to keep them limited and special. Thereâs nothing wrong with making them more obtainable now.

Also just gonna mention the time when all the world boss mounts were basically a 100% drop for Dracs
and how instead of rolling back all those mounts, they were kept and the boss drop rates were upped slightly.
Feel like that fun moment in time slipped some peoplesâ minds.

the main problem is that putting these mounts on a vendor incentivizes players to unsub and only come back for the next remix so they can get all the rare mounts for free.
oh you donât have ruhkmar mount? donât bother farming it now, just unsub until WoD remix comes and you get it as a guarantee from the vendor

There are many mounts to be purchased with timewalking tokens. This sometimes leads to drama due to speed runs by those that farm mounts. Personally, i donât mind seeing them for gold, since having wales pay for game development, for a game they rarely play, is good for the masses that do want to play and get achievements.
You should also start pointing out that they have none of the mounts themselves, despite claiming they had them earlier.

If thing only thing keeping a person subbed is farming for low drop rate mounts then WoW has bigger problems than mounts being on the vendor.
I think the Remix format would been good for players who only play for short amounts of time. There are tons of people who sub for the beginning of an xpac and then only resub when new content drops.
