World boss griefing is not a TOS violation

Apparently you are allowed to grief world bosses all you want since nobody is getting punished for it. So if you’re looking for a good time, a well placed taunt on Kazzak or Azuregos can not only cost other people loot, they’ll die and have to repair too! Or you can just run in and die on Kazzak and heal him, make sure you’re oom too for a chance to explode on their raid. Place some level 1s out there to act as sacrifices, each one is worth 70k healing to the boss. Making sure your own faction doesn’t kill a boss is of course what the game is about, it’s lore accurate and not a TOS violation. Just ruin someone else’s pull until your raid is ready, or just for fun.

If this sounds sarcastic, it is, but blizzard really isn’t punishing people for doing it despite their own TOS so I say open the flood gates. Everyone should start griefing world bosses.

It’s not griefing it’s playing normally.

If they didn’t want PVP they shouldn’t have rolled on a PVP server.

sure, sounds fun :expressionless: but be warned, if it’s some super duper mega streamer guild trying to kill the world boss, you WILL be banned.

Frost, you need to read the whole post not just the headline bro.

He’s talking about same-faction griefing, which has always been banned.

It’s not griefing.

It’s a PVP server.

Yeah, this is against tos on the pve servers. We’ve been over this on the original classic release. But not pvp servers.

I’m on a PVE server. It still seems like same faction suicide bombing would be a TOS violation on a PVP server too, but regardless I don’t care. My post is to encourage people to do more griefing because it sucks that only sh!tty people grief and don’t get griefed in return, everyone should suffer imo.

It’s not against TOS. Sorry bud.

there is only one officially known manner of griefing and that’s trying to kill unwilling people on a hardcore server :expressionless: playing taunt games on a softcore server is not bannable.

You can’t PVP your own faction dog.
It’s griefing.
It’s always been griefing.

Yes, it is.
People used to get banned for it all the time.

There were people on my Vanilla server that were dive bombing Kazzak with level 1 alts to prevent their own faction from getting the kill and they received bans for it.

It’s not griefing if it’s the opposing faction because there is a PVP solution to the problem.
It is griefing if it is your own faction.

This post is about same-faction griefing.
There is no PVP solution.

It’s still pvp the bosses were designed this way intentionally so people would fight over them
