I’ve read that back in the day Blizz broke decursive before Nax. I’m in the stress test trying to finish configuring my addons and decursive seems to be broken (don’t actually have a dispell to test it) but it won’t show any unit frames.
Do I just need to wait till classic is out for a lil? Or will it never come? Or is it just me?
i think they’ve specifically said they’ll be intentionally breaking/blocking addons like decursive.
Anyone else have insight?
The Classic client is a blend of the 8.x.x APIs
If it’s not possible on Live it won’t be in Classic.
So you’ll need to look for special Classic only versions. Not ones for 1.12. But for 1.13. It is not the same as Live but it’s not the same as 1.12 either.
there will be work-a-rounds possible with the API, i’m sure. when they broke decursive the first time it was only a matter of hours before alternate methods that worked even better popped up. i can’t remember the addon names, i think it was a combination of clique and grid or some such. basically since the API prevents mapping and changing action bars and keybindings in combat, you just bind “remove curse” or whatever spell to a key press or combination of keys pressed, combined with clicking. then you just click on the cursed/diseased/debuffed party or raid member and it fires the spell.
