Working as a Team

After hours of searching for answers to my questions, I have found nothing.
The guild achievement ‘Working as a Team’, in its basics, says that at least one person is required to obtain 525 skills points in a profession and that all primary and secondary professions must reach 525 to obtain the achievement.

  1. But how does it track the professions?
  2. If the person who reached 525 on mining were to leave the guild, does the completion for mining become uncompleted?
  3. If one person has 400 cooking and another had 125, does it complete cooking?
  4. What if one person had 5 alts that all have 105 in jewel crafting, is it considered complete?
  5. Is it required that you obtain a skill level in all expansions?

These are a lot of question, but they are not answered nor mentions in the description of the achievement. Does anyone know?

  1. It tracks all the characters in the guild.

  2. No. If it was completed while they were in guild it stays completed if they leave, transfer servers, or even delete the character.

  3. No. A single member must reach 525.

  4. No. (see number 3).

  5. I’m not completely sure on this question as there was a major change to profession skill caps with respect to individual expansions. Probably only need 525 points total for a profession on a single member, and these points can be split among the specific expansions.

I believe you are correct on 5.

I would also add that the person with 525 skill points also has to be at least Honored rep with the guild. This was to stop people with the profession level from just hiring themselves out to guilds to complete the achievement. You have to stay there for at least a little while and earn some rep.

My pleasure.

This is a very important point to keep in mind as well. Make sure the characters that get to 525 have honored with guild rep.
