Work Tables - Mounts

Would really like to see this change reverted - it’s horrible.

With how many Patron Crafting Orders I have to do every day (across 4 characters), the ability to have an AH mount AND the work order open at the same time is crucial - we need to see what mats the work order is missing, and how much they cost (to validate that the Patron WO is worth doing).

Having mounts near the work tables wasn’t an issue in DF or TWW; there’s no need to do this now.

It’s doubly frustrating because it’s one step forward, one step backward with crafting tables - in both DF and TWW, several tables were indoors (so, same problem with mat lists); this was so frustrating with the Engineering table in Dorn that I just went back to Val every week to use the one there. Now, we finally get all the tables outdoors AND in close proximity to one another, so characters with multiple profs don’t have to constantly travel so far, and within a week, we now can’t mount near them. How much real money and gold we spent on those mounts makes this all the worse; half their utility is gone

Just click the profession button “k” by default and open your desired profession after looking at the table. You can still see the crafting orders that were there before and buy accordingly then move 2 feet back to the table to craft.

Patron orders don’t usually have all the mats, you don’t know which to buy and which were provided.

A better solution would be to just allow us to see the crafting orders everywhere but only make them if close enough. In think everyone would be happy with that compromise

Going to be honest. The crafting table requirement being removed entirely would be the best solution. Crafting isn’t a social activity, and never has been. When was the last time anyone said anything at a crafting table to the other equally silent people making things?

LOL it’s not “crucial”, it’s just a convenience.

Use “no mats; no make” addon. It shows next to each order what is missing. You can just shift click the item into the ah to buy it.

Definitely a pain for patron orders.

If you stand on top of the table, though, you can still mount up. Awkward, but works for now.
