I have a question about the work orders, I just put in a work order for a chest piece with the titan matrix IV and it says between (372-382) for the Ilvl and when I got it crafted it was at a tier 2 Ilvl 374. I was wondering did I get screwed over by someone with a lower profession rating than another person? Like if someone with maxed out blacksmithing made it would it have been 382 tier 3 gold ? Or is it just random?

Pretty much. I specced 30 breastplates, 30 large plate armor (which boosts breastplates), and 21 armorsmithing (which boosts breastplates). But for work orders, and even linking my blacksmithing, no one knows that. So I would in reality be better off just getting as many recipes as I can to fulfill more orders because you can’t pay for quality. It’s a dumb system.
you can when recrafting, just not initially.
You can set minimum quality in the Crafting Order screen when you are placing the order. Since you didn’t have that set, it allows any level off the craft to fulfill the order.
How do you set the quality in a public order?
you can’t do that on a public order only guild and maybe personal orders
Is this only for armor then? I made an order for clamps (the tool for JC) and I was able to set the minimum quality to gold.
