Kevin: Seems to prefer mobs you scored the killing blow on. I didn’t have any problems feeding him as long as I was the one doing the killing.
Putting a Plan Together: Some phases seem to be bugged. A solution may be to use Group Finder, join ANY group, get phased, complete the quest, drop group.
Note: There is a chance you get phased to another broken Plans. Drop group, look for another phase. I did not have a problem; first group I joined was fine.

Excellent. I had to do this on two separate characters and it worked both times for me.
Worked fine for me as long as it was an elite mob. Kevin is picky and wouldn’t bother with non-elites.
I can’t remember it today - it was a “Did it and done” thing for me, but the quest asked for a specific mob type. I want to say “Fallen Mawsworn” but am not certain. If you weren’t killing that you were killing the wrong mob type.
