Worgen, worgen, what a Worgen

Oh Worgen, why do you haunt me? Why must you appeal and irritate me at every turn? Why must all your class options have better choices with other Races. What must I do to get over you?

Maybe you’re not worgen hard enough.

Nothing else can compete with Hella’s statement. The thread is closed, move along.

That was a worgen conclusion.

Make the Worgen.

Hella pretty much nailed it.

Yeah I just can’t get into worgen even though I want to. I wish there was a smaller, cuter Horde version with a tail. I’d play the heck out of that!

Sorry, this has been an ongoing problem for me for awhile. Problem is I nitpick the crap out of everything. The classes that I’d consider for Worgen are

Warrior
Rogue
Hunter
Druid

But the thing is all of those classes I find are better suited thematically and lore wise by other races. I look at Worgen and… just UGH.

be a cool guy like me and be worgen death knight

I had the same problem for so long! I don’t like playing Alliance… The PVE is not that great and I just generally prefer the Horde community.

BUT GOD WORGEN ARE SO FREAKING COOL. I finally ended up making one, but only after I did some research on the origins of Worgen Druid lore. You should check that out if you care about lore at all, or perhaps read up on other aspects of their lore. It can really help tie you to a specific race or class!

Worgen Warrior, Berserker utilizing feral rage to tear apart enemies.

Worgen Rogue, A dark stalker who silently hunts prey from the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to leap in for the kill

Worgen Hunter, a Tracker who focuses on Gilnean firearm fighting and uses his bestial abilities to hunt and track prey with both the cunning of human and wolf.

Worgen Druid, a Harvest-witch who chooses to study proper druidism from the Night elves to better maintain balance between human and Worgen so that the beast can never overtake the man.

About right?

I’m not sure about the first 3, but the Druid one is right! That Hunter snippet seems really interesting too. But I’m on a RP server, so that sort of flavor is often seen in people’s characters. I liked the idea, initially, of a visceral beast race, then I learned a lot of Gilnean culture and god I wish WoW had more things like it. Revendreth in Shadowlands is really giving off that vibe too.

Nothing beats their top hats

Oh trust me, I’ve probably over analyzed every single facet of Worgen and by extension Night elf lore to best construct my characters. Not that it helps mind you.

Dwarf Warrior, A Mountain King who charges into battle with all the fury a pissed off drunk Dwarf can muster (Make no bones about it these guys can punch dragons if they get sauced enough and probably walk away due to Stoneform)

Night elf Rogue, an Arbiter of Night elf justice they skulk through the shadows delivering vengeance by poisoned blade.

Night elf Hunter, a Night elven Sentinel who glides through the forests alongside their trusted Moonsabers and Hippogryphs dispatching the enemies of the Kaldorei with pin point marksmanship.

Night elf Druid, Druidism is so deeply rooted in Kaldorei Culture it’s simply impossible to separate, a Night elf Druid is simply leagues above any other Druid race.

And as an added bonus,

Dwarf Hunter, a Mountaineer who guards the mountains of Khaz Modan with his blunderbuss rifle and loyal bear, amazing marksmen and hardy survivalists.

Is OP Worgen hard for the money?

Your description OP, of a Worgen rogue is exactly why I made one. The architecture and vibes of Gilneas are dark and shadowy, perfect for rogue. It’s also similar to how some wolves would hunt

Don’t wolves usually hunt in packs?

Rabies shot?

Maybe but whatever that’s besides the point
