Lets admit it; a lot of us are more excited about the new Worgen models than 8.2. Its almost certain that its too late to add a major change to the model, but we can be excited at the possibility of an optional tail. Tails would balance out the top heavy models of the worgen. Dark tails help extend the line of the mane, and make it look less like a solid separate wig. Let the hype commence.

Honestly, I’ve never understood the obsession with giving worgen tails. They never had them. They look just fine without them.

Meh. If it happens it’ll hardly be the wackiest or furthest fetched design change in WoW’s history.
Honestly, though, the Worgen need better female models before anything. Honestly, WoW itself has needed better female Worgen models since… Female Worgen were a thing.

Optional tail sounds like the best option.
Also allow for a client side option to remove it entirely, so that people can shield their eyes from it’s majesty.

I left the female tails fluffy to add bulk to the model, because the female model is so skinny next to the male model. But yeah, its was a relatively simple edit, if the devs ever want to just staple the Vulpera tail to the Worgen as a last minute thing.

Worgen never had tails.
They’re from a different universe than the universes we see Werewolves in.
They’re different creatures inspired from Werewolves.
Kinda like how WoW Crocodiles have 6 legs. Different universe.

I’ve advocated for Worgen being able to have tails for a long time. the examples in this thread bolster my enthusiasm.
I mean… regardless of how they’ve appeared historically, It really seems like a fairly innocuous addition to player customisation that could make a whole bunch of people happy.

Eh, no thanks. Worgen have never had tails, and unlike Elves and their special eyes there’s no lore reason for worgen to suddenly sprout them.

Except for Running Wild, you have no real use of a tail.
Tails or no tails, seeing the images of the model redesigns is making me salivate.

I used to think I’d like worgen to have tails. These images have shown me that I do not want that at all.
