I saw a bit ago that the new race Drakthyr get to have a toggle that allows them to shift back into their visage form outside of combat. I really like this idea and would love to see it available for Worgen to go into human form. I imagine it could be done in a similar way. It would really be nice since we get to customize the human form separate from Worgen form

id support that option. a tamed inner beast is already possible.
id say with the addition of maybe a monk worgen story line of finding there true balance would also go a long way to support it lore wise.

I doubt they will bring it over to worgen because it’s a selling point of the new race/class of the up coming expansion.
Despite the fact that it makes 100% sense for them to port this over to worgen, it likely won’t happen. Blizz has a nasty habit of abandoning old races. See: Missing heritage armour, DID mole machine etc.

They can shift to human form out of combat but i don’t see why you would.
That would be so cool. Reminds me though, remember when Worgen were new content and the forums always had lots of posts asking for this? The flood of responses against it was crazy. All these…well, we called them white-knights at the time…would say “just play human stoopid” and went through lots of mental-gymnastics to try and convince us we didn’t deserve to have a feature like that. Anyways, flash forward to today, nobody is complaining that Drakthyr will get something like this.

This would be such a nice feature. On my worgen druid, my “humanoid form” (drop form) button already puts me in human form, but I’d love for it to be automatic for my other worgen classes.
Two solutions, in the meantime…
Tie two forms to mount macro.
Tie two forms to Z keybind like sheath/unshealth weapon.

Turning feral when angered is part of what being a Worgen is. If you want a Human, roll one or race change.
What if you don’t get angry though? :3 or can control it like Bruce banner?

They are referring to the toggle abilities that automates the visage swap when combat ends, it 100% makes sense that Worgen could also have that toggle

That would be a logical option, yes.
Personally, I’d like the option to use the human form voices in worgen form. There are several named worgen npcs that do not sound like they’re practicing growling for a death metal band. I would like to also speak normally. lol

I’d never use this so, my opinion is it’s unneeded, but more options are never a bad thing and in my inexpert opinion this one seems easy? Especially since it’s already in game for another race and there was a addon that could do it until it was made a spell.
I’ve done this. Using the mount means that if you mount twice, you shift into wereform if you use it out of combat twice. If you put a combat modifier in, you still do if you logged out.
The keybind is exactly what we have now that this aims to solve. This solution is “use it as is” 
So, you just want to argue?
