Worgen Tails & You

There’s a pretty good reason why the added real world races into the game. Thinking that worgen tails is even on the same level is… astounding.

Please don’t drag that into this thread. They were added to increase variety and flavor for the human models, along with the dark elf skins, and nothing more. Let’s keep it all in game.

Then stop comparing the two.

If we give worgen tails even though they never have been depicted with them, then why not give them horns too? or Wings? Its just fantasy right? Who cares! I want it! GIMME GIMME GIMME

Warlock worgens can get horns and the trinket from wrathion gives you wings :V

When it comes to darker elf skins… it’s literally against Blizzard’s lore btw. That is 100% fact as it is known and said that the high elves (which became blood elves) evolved from Kaldorei -lost their pigmentation of their skin and vibrant hair colors- due to their exposure to the sun. This has been lore since Warcraft started. There were no dark skinned elves.

Having these actually breaks lore. Yet when it comes to worgen tails, there is nothing in the lore that says a worgen can’t have a tail… So if we can have lore breaking dark skinned elves, why can’t a worgen player have the option to have a tail?

I think it’s completely fair to ask and have them now, it’s 100% clear that Blizz is looking to increase variety here, and add in more flavor to the game so more of us can actually have fun with it and enjoy it.

I say nows the time to get it, since we’re going this way anyways. Thank you for the support and let’s keep this bumped.

And yer also a good boy.

Bumping this.

It’s really quite amusing to see an upright orc vehemently defend “The Lore®”, when that self-same lore had ordained that all orcs were hunched over with bent spines…that is, until Blizzard recently changed that sacrosanct lore because of popular demand.

Lore can change, people. It happens in this game all…the…time. Stop using it as a hammer to beat down a harmless request for an optional appearance enhancement. Unless of course, you also think all of the cosmetic options they are giving to us in the next expansion should be thrown out the window as well.

And you wonder why Alliance doesn’t have or ever get anything nice or fun.

Lore breaking / Lore bending character customization is now in. (If the datamines are accurate)

There’s no mechanical reason why Worgen cannot have tails anymore either.

Give the Worgens a tail option and be done with it.

Good luck getting your tails.

Tailed Worgen would definitely get me to abandon my Vulpera in favor of a Worgen. At least in the short term.

But, worgen have never had tails?

But if they should get them…
Make them customizable with jewelry, designs, and lengths, or not at all.
Ask for the right things, not what you can get.

I can’t even get tribal flavored horn and tail ornaments and jewelry, and other knick nacks on my TAUREN whom should totally have those.

While we are on the topic for new custom options, it does not seem that we are getting new variations for our faces. We have only one (or maybe two) with just a change of fur.
Is it really killing to not add at least 2 - 3 more per gender?

Well, your big woofers and wolves do have a pretty set cranial structure. Most of the variation comes in the fur pattern (including face).

No, worgen have never had tails and should remain tailless. This isn’t the same as a change to skin color. You’re asking to change the silhouette/physical look of the race.

seeming that Worgens never had a tail they should never get them and to answer the question about the new blood ekf skin colors there is actually 2 dark skinned elves one is just the human form of a Dragon from the red flight and another is dead has been since wrath

To no real impact.

A tail option doesn’t hurt anything.
