Worgen still need work - solid true black fur, posture for males, tails, paladins and monks

Nobody would want that. :slightly_smiling_face:
What is certain is that there is symmetry and the same that is available for the female worgen is available for the male worgen.
I still think that pandaren male should also have a tail, made to be harmonious with his body. :grinning:

Agreed!

I really hope they address how shafted the humans and worgen are so far - and give us that solid black fur, if absolutely nothing else…

Stream today. I doubt they’ll talk about customization much, if at all, but here we go.

I’m not. I love cats! But I agree, we need a more wolfish cat form.

Give worgen tails! Give worgen tails! Give worgen tails!

I don’t know why it’d be so hard to give them tails - the rig is already there.

I also don’t know why it’d be so hard to give the males a posture option and a new walk to go with it, maybe, when the male orcs got it.

And the solid true black fur option - that’d be very easy.

Halleuyah!

Sauroks use the worgen rig in Pandaria and have a tail. :lizard:
Saberons use the worgen rig has a tail. :lion:
Sethraks use the worgen rig and have a tail. :snake:
Arakkoas use the worgen rig and also have a tail. :bird:

I think worgen can also have a tail, with optional cosmetics to give them a more feral appearance. :wolf:

Despite those races using the Worgen models and having tails, you can see that they are not animated in the slightest. I recall saberon having minor movements near the base of the tail, otherwise its just stuck in place. The tail for saurok don’t move at all, same could be said for the arakoa.

If you want tails, it’s going to take to properly rig them and give them animations to fit with the actions and cycles they already have in place for the race. Can’t do it on the fly. If Blizz plans do more customization throughout the xpac, could possibly happen. Of if they decide to add new options for every future xpacs, could happen during those times. Doubt something with that much work will be added before SL drops

I doubt they’ll ever do it anyway, to be honest. But I’d like to think that with such high demand, they’d at least consider it.

I wouldn’t even care if the tail wasn’t that fluidly animated. As long as it animates at least a little, I’d just like having one there to balance out the model and look more like what I prefer to see in a werewolf design with a wolf head like the worgen have.

Nah. If they’re going to make a rig a tail, I want Sethrak levels of animation. Having it stick out at all times will bother me greatly

I can understand, I guess. Though I think making it overly animated would also be a mistake, but yeah. Should be properly animated, though I would definitely not want a tail that is super ultra long and waves around like a snake’s.

Also, frankly, our male worgen ears haven’t been animated for a long, long time now. That hasn’t stopped me from playing male worgen, despite it bugging me immensely (especially when I see the female worgen ears moving and emoting so much).

Forums are exploding in a lot of topics, but I’ve noticed customization option topics are being pushed down hard and for me and many people I know that’s still a primary concern, so here we go again.

What a fantastic list. Posture is at the top of mine. I’d be the happiest Gilnean sniper in all of Moon Guard.

Because then a lot of worguen players qould be human druida

Posture is super high for me, too, at this point.

But I gotta say… I really want that solid black fur option, too. Why isn’t that in yet? Why wasn’t it added with the first round of new fur options for worgen (assuming/hoping worgen get another round of new options at all)? It’s nuts.

Posture and black fur, and I’m happy. Next on my list would be tails and paladins, easily.

I’ve turned to maining a kul’tiran despite loving werewolves for my entire life, just because I’m frustrated with being short/hunched, slate grey, tailless, and locked out of any versatile class that doesn’t have to shapeshift all the time.

I just want to know if Worgen get the new human customizations too!

They do. They get all the new human customizations (of which they aren’t many…) and can customize their forms separately.

The actual worgen form, though, hasn’t gotten much anything and hasn’t even gotten solid black fur yet.

There’s a post over on Wowhead listing all the eyes and fur colours and stuff they are (supposedly) getting.

Bu I am happy we’re getting the human stuff too.
