For some reason, the Worgen shoulders have suddenly shrunk and are hovering way too high above the shoulders.
Many players report that they also noticed this and it destroys the aesthetic of many possible transmogs, which unfortunately looks embarrassing compared to when another race wears it
As you can see for example in the following Reddit post in the official WoW Reddit, there are also screenshots where the problem is clearly visible (this is the latest post on the subject with numerous comments.).
Via WoWHead you can compare the shoulder models with the ingame versions.
The problem seems to exist since 10.0.5, but I could not find any indication that this is an intended change.
The Worgen shoulders are sometimes, depending on the item, really too big, but what is currently happening ingame is unfortunately not the solution to this and unfortunately looks terrible.
This issue is simply ignored from month to month so far, the only thing you can do as a player is to keep pushing it.
Every Transmog set I look at is cool until I look at the shoulders.
I mean, this has to be solvable, it can’t be that this is going to stay like this forever.
I’m not sure if it’s really ignored, but yes, it’s been going on for a long while now…
The Orc bug took 2 months to get fixed back then, female pandaren even had it 2 times.
It’s always a bad time when these things happen because you know it won’t be fixed anytime soon unless you’re a popular race (blood elf, human, night elf).
One of the problems is that the devs might not even consider this an issue if it was an intentional change.
They tend to ignore character model and animation bugs in general, though. For instance, female Undead toes have been bugged on the “Fresh” and “Mottled” Skin Type options since literally Shadowlands Pre Patch, and it doesn’t look like they are EVER going to fix it.
They probably have some rules internally about until when a issue is considered a real issue.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if the number of crying players plays a big part in that. Now here’s the problem, there just aren’t enough Worgen players to notice this mistake and cry out.
And since there aren’t that many, the priority shrinks immensely…
I can’t imagine that this problem would last longer than 2 months for male humans, as it did for orcs in TBC when they were more popular than they are today.
And since technically the undead problem only affects undead who have made this specific selection, the same thing comes into play here.
There are now a few posts about this problem, the current Reddit post has also grown quite a bit since yesterday and has already been shared here on the Bug Forum as well.
dont have much more to say, just wanna add my voice here to say this change really bother me a lot as main worgen, and i really wanna they change this back to normal
