May look like a Druid, but still uses all shaman spells and datamined back in the day as a shaman.
But just wanted to point out Worgen Shamans are a thing.
I know you seem against it but they been in the game for a few years now, and remember all base core classes are going to expanded to all races. That includes Shamans.
But Worgen can be Warlocks, literally dealing with Chaos magic and forces that can easily corrupt
Doesnāt fit thematically, donāt want to see it in the game.
Some of us donāt like oversized shoulders.
That said, I do agree when they change something on a race they should announce it, and or offer race changes, because it could change why someone picked them.

There is also Sabina Pilgrim in Ashenvale, who is essentially a Worgen Shaman.
Anyway, Iām pretty certain Blizzard intends to gradually do away with Race/Class restrictions altogether. Now that we have draenei/LFD warlocks, itās clear nothing is off the table. Only a matter of time!
Orcs did not have to be captured and to be retaught how to be a normal person and not to be a feral wolf.
At this point I would say orcs are a lot calmer than Worgenās.
orcs are pretty bestial, they have an innate bloodlust which they need to suppress. And given that murlocs and furlbogs can be shaman, i dont think being animalistic, erratic or wild precludes a race from shamanism, if anything it makes it more likely
Worgen are my favorite race and Iād love to race charge my Shammy to a Worgen.
I hope their totems are cool. Some sort of wicker/bone theme. Kind of like the Drust effigies.
