Night Elves are nice because you get a mini-vanish that can also work to drop aggro if needed.

If you go for racials, i would say that Nelf wins since Shadowmeld is just THAT good
But Worgen gives you an extra sprint and i believe better stats

Another thing to mention is that thematically Worgen probably fits better due to Outlaw, since its just weird to see a Nelf using hooks and guns

If a class can’t be Human, I won’t play it, with the exception of Shaman (Orc of course)
Night Elf = shadow meld = but rogues already have vanish, wasted racial skill here
Worgen = Boosted run speed active skill = but again rogues have sprint, so wasted racial skill again
The correct answer = Dwarf, or Dark Iron Dwarf if you have unlocked them.
can remove necrotic stacks in Mythic+ or can even remove blind from other rogue in PvP

Night Elf Rogues have been feared since day one.
Plus shadowmeld is very very handy to have.

But what if Vanish is on cooldown and you need something to drop aggro, or Sprint is on Cooldown and you need something that’ll get you out of the way faster?

that rarely happens but in case it does, I guess you will just have to what everyone does and kill them.
That shadowmeld racial is good for all classes except rogue. It’s a perfect racial to have if you need to play WOW while attending for something else…like…a baby? You can go afk safe in the middle of mobs and change diaper for the baby.
You just couldn’t be more wrong. I use this all the time especially in battlegrounds.

I am very offended by this statement! You should go Night elf right away OP and call him Captain Hook while you’re at it.
Well I am sure it’s better than nothing. but my point here is about diminished return.
NE, and I use Shadowmeld all the time. I don’t always want to waste my vanish.
An example: Atal, someone misses the fear kick (Teeming weeks , looking at you) and you pull the dumb mobs in the center, run to the side shadowmeld till aggro falls off and then stealth back to the group. Then you have vanish for something else if need be or just hold it for your second burst phase on a boss or if you’re playing Shrouded Suffocation and need to reapply a bunch of garrotes.

Well… accktually the first worgen were night elf Druid practicing the forbidden form.
On the side note, Worgen hunters are so good. Their faster running racial makes them OP in PvP with all the kiting from melee. Faster skinning is soo good if you are going for skinning + leather work.
A wolf with a wolf pet on a wolf mount LOL just imagine that!
