Worgen Heritage hate

Its not the exact same hat, its a different one but looks the same

All combinations of every shade of Gold and Black across the world are not bad - the specific colors chosen for the Worgen heritage armor look bad.

It’s not, but the gold is both oversaturated and covers too much of the set, the hat especially. There’s a reason Genn has so much brown leather and pleated cloth.

Also, is it too much to ask for an actual damn coat, preferably with a holstered pistol? I don’t care if it’s close to the Tirassian set, they started off as pilgrims from Gilneas.

Island Expedition. You have to sell your soul and sacrifice at least 20 Tauren to get it though.

Sweet Jesus.

So we can get a tophat. BUT! We have to do island expeditions.

“A small price to pay for a top hat”

When i found out about this top hat i wanted to shot myself for being a leather user…

But i got this new fancy top hat now so i fell like living again

True, it’s not perfect but it’s something.

The main thing it’s missing is the cape and high collar. If they had simply made the shoulders smaller (almost to the point of nonexistent) and included a highback collared cape, this would’ve been received much better. Also, the top hat is too small. It should be about 15% larger.

The chest piece/coat I feel needs to be longer.

Yes, I saw the images first and they do the set no justice at all.

Honestly, look at it in the actual game first, then judge it. Also they have the option of trousers or skirts.

For some reason of the publicity images it looks much flatter than it actually is, probably because of the poor choice in lighting.

One thing that is true is the insistence on the stupid oversized bulky shoulders.

The hat also needs to be positioned so that it isn’t clipping through their damn ears.

Thats asking too much tbh… just look at the Void elves for example

I want armor that looks like my race is by and large the alliances strike force, not like I’m about to go to a damn charity ball :rage:

I think from an art standpoint the colors are to bright right now. The Worgen have always had darker colors and hues and…art terms.

Darken the black and tarnish the gold color.

My worgen rogue will sport the pants just because, but probably little else. To me just about any helm looks bad on a male worgen, including a top hat, so I doubt he’ll wear it for long, if ever.

Personally I feel like it needs more brown (the brown from the boots) on other parts, like on the gloves and the vest under the coat. Speaking of gloves I think they need a little more to them, like some more bulk.

The gold could be desaturated a tiny bit, the collar should be higher and the coat longer and feel like the belt needs to be a little larger.

As for the shoulders, they need to be redone or removed, they add nothing to the set and take away too much.

Especially since the only thing that happens in the questline is the player worgen being made part of the Greyguard. You’d think the soldiers that stand to guard the royal family no matter the cost would wear something more durable than a nice shirt and coat.

I guess they prefer speed over protection.

And it makes sense, in real life, armor became more and more obsolete when guns and such started appearing

What sealed the deal for me was the fact the male worgen ear is clipping through the top hat.

It’s like: “Are you kidding me? This is the one set that is supposed to be designed for Worgen… and you didn’t even bother to address an obvious clipping issue before making it public?”
